Love these types of videos, you are the third you tube creator return to this type of video over the last couple of months. I also understand why your mom believes that bag is too heavy, it does gets more difficult as we get older. You need to do a spring/summer video with your mom including your most used or worn makeup, skincare and clothing.
I have watched your channel for years and especially love your personality shining through so much more these last few months. 9:03 literally everything v.e schwab has ever written is so good! the shades of magic series?! i’ll never get over it. acotar is fine, but book 2 of the series is clearly superior. it sucks to have to get through a less-good book to get to the good book, though 😭 but if you like v.e. schwab, check out the saint of steel series by t. kingfisher! it’s precious and kinda spooky at the same time!

OK what are everyone's feelings about mixing metals? Like if I'm wearing gold jewelry, my bag has to have gold hardware, my jacket has to have a gold zipper, etc. Why? I have no idea. But if you saw me on the street with mixed metals would you judge me, like "ew that girl doesn't match how dare she mix silver jewelry with a bag with silver hardware"? Because that's what my brain tells me.
I think mixing metals is becoming very mainstream, as long as the overall outfit vibes. I think the idea that mixing metals is bad was drilled into from a young age (at least in the US), but now the idea is outdated and it’s more about what looks good to your eye and what other fabrics/tones and styles you pair it with 😊❤
Mix the metals! Looks really good, and simplifies things in a weird way as you don't have to contrive as much
I wouldn't even notice if the hardware on your clothes don't match your jewelry or bag

Fun video. I'd fit my everyday makeup into the tiny bag in your makeup bag. That's influenced by store security in an upmarket department store here, the only place with big brands, who assume if you have more than one lip product that you just stole the extras from the store. So, no one goes in there with a big bag of makeup
At least it is nice to know that I am not alone-- I have 30 lip things or so in my bags at any given time BUT mine are more red red versus rosy red. LOL
I once had a lime in my purse.
A lot of people do say they are not into acotar though! You should read their goodreads' review, the top one is very long and hilarious. It's okay not to love it, I don't either :) to each their own
I'm also struggling with this book. The premise just doesn't make sense to me. I'm now listening to the dramatized version to see if it's better but I may not finish those.
