Over 40 years ago while working on the railway at a level crossing in the middle of nowhere I began rehearsing my role of Figaro. All the cows in the field next to my hut made their way to me and stayed bunched together until I finished. They were a wonderful and appreciative audience.
I wonder if people believed you as you had no video to prove it!

It's a privilege to play for animals because they genuinely come to you and listen to your music without talking and constantly scrolling at their phone. Just taking every moment watching and enjoying you play.

A bunch of people setting up their instruments, wearing a neck tie and playing some soothing music in the middle of a field and then seeing cows come and enjoy the music from up close is some of the heartwarming stuff I want to see more on the internet.

I help our neighbor on his farm, I was really surprised how inquisitive and intelligent the cows are. They aren't stupid, that's for sure.

This is so adorable! I love cows. I've experienced this myself. I am a singer. On occasion, I would come home and stop at my mailbox which is right on the edge of a field full of cows. I'd roll down my window and start singing. Pretty soon all the cows would be lined up at the fence line. As long as I saying, they stayed. One day my sister and I were practicing under her carport, which is directly across from the Cow pasture. After a few minutes we looked up and there with the cows at the fence line. Cows are the

Music has its own language. My dog calms down when I play the uke or acoustic guitar and will just close his eyes. Love seeing the reaction between music and animals. Take better care of them as well!

Most dairy/beef cows lead very good lives!! Farmers do care for their animals, and unhappy cows is bad for business anyways.
Even if they get a book read every night at the end they still get loaded on a truck and taken to the slaughterhouse. Watch 73 cows that's a documentary about a farmer that loved his animals enough to end this barbaric cycle

This really made not only my day but my weekend. This is amazing what you did for the cows. What a kind and loving gesture. The fact that you all dressed up for this occasion, says so much also. I have seen videos where dairy farmers play music in the milking barns and the cows have actually produced more milk. The cows actually are swaying to the music. There are videos of a pianist playing classical music on the piano in a field, on an elephant preserve and the elephants sing along and sway to the music It just goes to show that music is the universal language for humans and animals.
The cows immensely love popular tunes, implying that they have great sense of appreciation for musical melodies. 😊😊❤❤

Back in the 1970s I knew a dairy farmer who installed a sound system in his milking barn. Played classic music for the cows. Increased the amount of milk they produced. Last I heard, they're still playing music for the cows. 🎻🐄
