DDP seems like a good guy. The right amount of confidence and humbleness, not a diva, just a good guy. Izzy made himself look like such a bag of tools in comparison. Big props for the fight, but also big props to handling the post-fight situation so well in the middle of an adrenaline dump. Classy guy.

He may be a good fighter but none of the fighters in the division will be scared of him. Not allowing him to dictate when they fight isn't being scared it's a smart move on dricus' part. This fight has to happen now after their face off so he's not going to lose his chance. Would be stupid to come in to this fight with an injury. I'd say The Chinaman seems far more rattled.

I personally didn't look at his cardio, his technique is very questionable, he fights like he is drunk in most of his fights..but hey, man has heart and physicality great enough to overrule his other weaknesses, and he makes it work for him.

To be fair, as a South African (not proud at all though) I hoped that Dricus would win, but honestly didn't think he had a chance. So pleasantly surprised man😮😂
The media for 290 was severely lacking, in the pre-fight press conference I think Dricus got one question! 90% of people counted him out, the only people who didn't was Rob himself and South Africa.
Even myself, I'm South African, and I'm a huge MMA fan....Honestly didn't think DDP had a chance, but fuck me....I was pleasantly surprised!😂

Made huge money betting on Dricus. After I heard he got his nose fixed I knew he was gonna start tearing up the division. Showed great striking ability in the fight with Till and FANTASTIC wrestling in the Brunson fight. Very well rounded fighter and not to mention he is built like a brick house😂 betting on you again brother 💪

I think Dricus' biggest strength is his self awareness. He knows what people say, he knows what he looks like when he fights and he knows how good his opponents are. But he also knows exactly who he is and what he is capable of, no disillusions and that makes him dangerous.
And knows when he's to soft to get locked in the cage with a killer and backs out of the fight. Now he'll lose and won't get a title shot because he was to much of a French poodle to seize his moment...

When DDP pulled off a head and arm throw on Bobby, I knew he was in trouble. Massive power and technique. I’ll admit that I strongly favoured Rob. Also when DDP landed a shot on Rob’s guard and The Reaper was knocked back I thought “Oh my!” Classy win sir! 🫡

Dricus was absolute class in that Octagon during the fight and after the fight. You guys makes me so proud to be South African. Racial slurs do not belong in sport or society and a guy like Ariel Helwani just makes it worse. I have unfollowed that worm from all social media and I will never watch his show again. Before I quit watching his show, I have sent him messages on his shows and they won't choose my questions due to obvious reasons.🤣🤣 Living in Australia I would have loved if Dricus did the title fight here, as I would have gone without a doubt, (but that is super selfish and I don't really want that). I am glad Dricus turned it down. Izzy wanted to fight an injured, fatigued Dricus who had to cut weight twice in 8 weeks. I don't even think that would have been enough time for a full fight camp, right Cameron? Taking into consideration time for his foot to heal and travelling etc..Now Izzy will have to fight a Dricus that is fully healed, rested, on top of his game, and clearly Izzy does not want it. This will probably be the best Dricus that we will ever see comes the title fight night. Imagine, Strickland beats Izzy ( if they make that fight in September), that would be crazy, lol.
