Enjoyable video with Nikki & you nailing those Jew & as usual some great diving in the process, ("30 or 40 meters"). You should explain when you talk of hearing Jew, Tim, that they make that sound with their swim bladders as some of your viewers may not be aware of that.
This was all in the shallows, 15-20 meters of water

Awesome guys. Man that swell. My problem is I don't get boat sick but when in the water and it's swelly I get sick. Tablets help, but only getting back in the boat fixes it. Sucks.

Hey bro, awesome content as always!!! Got a quick question for you if you got time… About a year ago after watching your content, you inspired me to get a Riffe euro 120 with reel. Amazing gun!!! Just wanted to ask your personal opinion I’m thinking of upgrading the stock 7.1 mm Riffe shaft to a double flopper 7.5 mm (adreno hunt) Do you think the 2 rubbers will handle the extra weight of the bigger shaft? Should I drop shaft size down 100 mm from the standard? Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated, Thanks mate Keep the awesome content coming. 😃

Hey mate, thank you! On the torches I’m not real sure, I just recently got a new torch from Adreno and I haven’t used it yet but they have a couple different models.

A few different sounds, spooking fish, spooking schools of fish. Big tail kicks. Also listen carefully at 13:18

Another awesome video and I really appreciate your showcasing of a female spearo. She is really impressive. I wonder if you might consider using "mulloway" in your future videos on this fish, given the global reach of your channel. If I were Jewish, I imagine I'd feel pretty uncomfortable with all the references to "Jews". Seems like a small concession, especially from a Christian pastor like yourself--a WWJD (What Would Jesus Do?) kind of choice.
Definitely something I actually thought about when watching the vid back myself. Jewfish is the more common name here and a name we have all used for decades without even thinking about it as it’s not in any way meant as a derogatory term. But worth thinking about.
Thanks. We used to call Goliath Grouper "Jewfish" here in the states and now it seems people just say Goliath Grouper. I don't know how/why the change happened, but it seems a good outcome. I'm guessing that the origin of the name in either case didn't have anything to do with the Jewish people, but it still sounds awkward, especially given current international events. Keep making great videos!
@@mattw5684 we don’t just 1 species with this name, there 6 species of jewfish here in QLD, they are all similar species, like the American “Drums”, the mulloway/ Jew, Trag jew, black jew, scaley jew, river jew, silver Jew, plus Western Aus has the Dhu fish, pronounced Jewfish. Again none of them are in anyway named derogatory. Not just 1 name to change. But I do understand where you are coming from.
