Since the Stinger is gone it would be nice to see the K5 GT in AWD.

I think they do have an AWD and that why they went with 2.5 NA engine.
@@thatdudeKarim unfortunately the K5 doesn’t offer any trims or models with AWD. I sell them. If I misunderstood your comment I apologize.
The K5 has always had an impeccable exterior, and that powertrain is nice for the price
Not impeachable. That hideous bright work around the back end needs to go.
Just wish they would add AWD to the 2.5t. People have pointed out that they make more money from SUV's and CUV's. Which is true, but there is still a market for sedans. Just make it to where AWD is available for for all models. With suspension technology, they can make both plush and stiff rides in one package. Make a luxurious and sporty car in one rather than make 2 seperate models.
everytime I see one on the street, I can't help but do a double take. It's such a good looking sedan.

The best there's in the segment. No altima no accord no camry looks this good and never did. Lots of fanboys gonna use reliability to justify camry, but when I'm buying a car I want more than reliability, I want looks more power and great value for money and kia/huyndai does just that, not to mention these cars will easily last 10+ years and by that time most people would trade in and get something else

@@2004cyrus so you telling me every single kia and huyndai on the road today can't last pass 100k -150K miles? I only need it to last 10-15 years and by that time I'll get bored and get something newer so is most of the younger generation. I'm not keeping my vehicle longer than 15 years so absolutely no reason to buy Toyota. I want to enjoy the car I drive and have power for good value and Toyota cannot give me that. Again reliability means nothing anymore because with proper maintenance most vehicles are well capable of reaching 100 -150k miles

I’m going to upgrade to this, from my 2013 optima i don’t want to get rid of it so I’m keeping it still it has 225 thousand miles no issues ever and still drives like new. I absolutely love Kia.
good lord wow. I had a 21 Kia Forte (also an older Forte) and it was OK-ish in terms of reliability. May try them again in the future
This car is amazing! I was checking out some other 2025 sedans but the K5 is so much more appealing than the others. I’m super impressed with everything about it and I cannot wait until it drops. I am definitely looking to buy one myself.

Chicago Auto Shows were the best as a highschool student going on a school field trip. Me and my buddies used to go in the rear seats and set the child locks on the doors and see grown men get stuck in the rear seats and have to beg others to open it for them or crawl into the front seats. Obviously boys will be boys but as an adult looking back these videos bring memories lol.

Yeah this looks much better inside and out than the accord. The accord needs a panoramic sunroof but other than that it’s still really solid. The touring trim that is.

First thing that caught my eye is that cool daytime running lamp and the tail lights is also cool pair with that beautiful looking quad exhaust awesome.
This really looks stunning specially the headlight & taillight design which will become very recognizable. Korean car makers really improving their game.
They definitely prioritize design, high quality interiors, and high end technology. I consider quite a few of their vehicles to be works of art.

I’m getting a 2025 K5 GT as soon as they come out. Another good review. I’m looking forward to when you get to drive one. By the way Kia says that the color on the calipers and the stitching on the seats is called “Neon Green”…

@@Skwid-LivesPrices haven’t been released just yet but I’ve heard it shouldn’t be much more than the current 2024 K5 GT ($33k or 37-38k w/ optional GT1 package). Whatever it ends up being, I’m trading my Optima for one of these babies once released 😊

Great Review ! This is the best looking K5 to date .. especially liking the rear - very clean ! Nice interior ! Quick motor ! - Only gripe is the lemon/lime calipers and matching color stitching lol

I like the 21-24 K5s better. The DRLs look better, and I don't like what they did to the back on the new ones.

Hey Raiti, been a long time subscriber. Need some input, since it's been a while since I last purchase a new vehicle . Looking to get a Kia K5. Pricing, pre-covid, one was able to negotiate and buy below MSRP. During covid, prices were marked up ridiculously. Post covid, I guess it's hit or miss. I have come across some dealers that still have mark ups. I guess what I'm trying to ask, is this a good time to buy or should I wait?, when it comes to pricing. I understand your expertise is in vehicle previews. Because I'm a long time subscriber, I trust your judgement. I would like your recommendation. Thank you
Better than the new accord, honda really dropped the ball by dropping the 2.0t
honda will last 20+ years, this kia will start burning oil after 2 years
Rather have the excellent MPG from the Accord Hybrid. Don't really care to get a midsize sedan to beat people off the line at a red light.
The only ball Honda has is their reputation of reliability. That’s it. I’m surprised they offer power windows.

I absolutely love how it uses the green brake caliper style from the ev6 gt. I own an ev6 gt myself.
Kia really has the best looking cars these days. All it needs is a AWD.

I disagree, I think they all look weird as shit 😂 some elements are nice but they be doing way too much. I miss when cars were more elegant but that's my opinion.

Overall a pretty solid line of cars, 290 HP with the GT is not bad at all. The biggest gripe people have, myself included is that it’s front wheel drive only…0-60 those tires spinnnnnn

Currently have a 22 Forte GT, and it's a fun little car for the price. My initial impression was mixed on this, but the more I look at it, the more I am highly considering upgrading!

i have a 2020 forte5 gt aswell, its kinda disappointing to think it might be more fun to drive then the GT Line K5, could upgrade to the GT but i really want that awd if im upgrading.
@TheJoeeReflex The K5 AWD GT Line drives pretty well. Friend of mine has one. I obviously would prefer an AWD GT, and it's a shame Kia won't make it to fill in that gap left by the Stinger. But, with that said, I think it sounds more disappointing than it really is in practice.
I daily a '23 Forte GT, no way I'd trade it for this '25, same power and still no AWD for an even higher price? Nope. This car isn't much quicker to 60 than what I have which was 10k less and looks almost as nice...

Quad tip exhaust is cleaner. The interior trim stitching matching the calipers. Full LED lights. 🔥 Really digging this
They claim all exterior lights are LED but quickly noticed the license plate lights are not.
At least this can be equipped with everything, unlike the Sonata N-Line which doesn't get any of the equipment the Limited trim can get.
That was pissed me off. Luckily this looks better anyway so
I was going to get a 2024 Sonata N Line but then I realized that it’s not very well equipped so I’m getting the 2025 Kia GT…
Also have you been In there lower trims of the sonata it feels so underwhelming compared to when you get in a k5 I can't really explain it but I didn't feel comfortable in the passengers, or driver seat in the sonata or felt l8ke I was in a nice car fr

My every day car is a 2023 K5 GT. I luv this car..Traded a 2020 Stinger GT1 for a K5 to achieve better gas milage. The only zonk I have on the GT is that the exhaust could be tuned further to give it more piz az. Otherwise, this car is worth the money.

Joe I’ve been watching videos since March 30, 2023 when Hyundai introduced the newly refreshed 2024 Sonata N Line. I have switched over to the 2025 K5 GT. Of all of them Raiti’s Rides definitely does the best job! Your camerawoman does a great job too!

always loved the look of the K5 but the only thing that i zonked was the gauge cluster, that tiny little screen compared to other big brand vehicles they have in there’s, made me never consider getting one. NOWWW i’m sold, definitely will go for this as my next car!

The Korean redesigned K5 has the rotary shifter any knowledge if it’ll be an option over here why is it the same standard shifter
The one thing I would like to see changed with the interior is that gear lever. They should make it smaller or move to knobs or buttons.
No! When I'm driving a car with a gear shifter I don't want no baby ass camey gear shifter or honda I need big boy gear shifter cyase its comfortable holding while driving with one hand
Wrong. Many of us old-timers like to drive tiptronic so the gear lever stays. I like to chose my own gears.

A gt trim and no limited slip differential kind of contradicts the point of a gt trim

It's really good looking!! They missed a HUGE opportunity by making it FWD, instead of AWD. Could've just used the Tucson drivetrain. They'd put a dent in every competitive brand👍

Currently driving a 21 Sonata N Line with almost 50K and its been great. I was going for the GT but there were none around at the time. Not really in the market for a new car. If I were and wanted to stay in the segment, this would be it. Not really a fan of the Sonata RoboCop refresh, and they eliminated the rear seat vents?! If it comes as equipped in your review, I'll consider it.

Also the k5 is longer than the Stinger. If the stinger had a bigger gas tank it would have been a winner in my book. 300 mile range on a full tank. Not cutting it. My 22 kia k5 gt has a 420-425 range and my 15 kia optima sxl has a 490-502 range. They need to go back to the 18.5 gallon gas tank.
I get 350 miles out of my stinger gt limited awd. I drive 90 miles a day. I fill up every 3.5 days. If you drive the speed limit you can get 400 miles. I drive fast so i get 24mpg. The extra power and the way the stinger handles \ ride is in a different league than the k5. I had the sonata before so i know.
@avis1978 Oh wow. I have never seen anything over 329 in a Kia stinger gt2. I guess we have some bad gas in NC lol.
