    • Even if we're not in Hardcore, I don't think a Respawn Anchor will be useful in Nether. If you revived inside the Nether, SURPRISE, more mobs around there going to kill ya again

    • OscarDaBeast I’m not gonna word this the best but I will try 😂 I don’t THINK you can reset the nether as such (don’t quote me on that), but to get to these new nether biomes you have to travel however far you have travelled previously in the ‘old’ nether. So if you have travelled tens of thousands of blocks in one direction in the nether, you have to go that far to get to these new biomes, because the chunks generate as you travel. But if you have only entered the nether quickly and come straight out, you could have a new biome past what you can see standing at the nether portal. I’m sorry for how badly this was worded, but I can’t think of another way to put it. IBX Toycat has a video on it that explains it better if you want to watch that

    • The best updates was when mojang reworked already existir features like Pillage and Village, nether, swimming rework and treasures, these updates contributed alot to the game, as well as adding New itens and mechanics, now we Just need a end update

  • Honestly this video doesn't feel like It its already 2 years old, i remember exactly, the day this trailer came out. That tuesday my online class had just ended when this update (and this trailer) released, i was so excited to play It that i downloaded it Just a few minutes after release. When the download finished, i opened a creative world and went straight to nether to see all the new features: the new biomes, new mobs, the netherite set and, of course, pigstep (yeah this new music disc is more fire than the nether). I spent literal hours on that world, exploring and building with the new blocks. Yeah that day was fun.

  • In blender, I had been trying to figure out how they did the bump maps. Eventually I realised that once you have the base texture for the model. Dup the image texture, plug it into Normal at the Principled BSDF, and put a bump node in between them with the color going into the height. This then adds a bump map for each change in color.
