    • @@carlsoll the sanitation issues were actually complaints about the rotten odor of the animatronics after Afton stuffed the kids in there. Here's the excerpt: Local pizzaria threatened with shutdown over sanitation. Local pizzaria, Freddy-Fazbear’s Pizza has been threatened again with shutdown by the health department over reports of foul odor coming from the much-loved animal mascots. Police were contacted when parents reportedly noticed what appeared to be blood and mucus around the eyes and mouths of the mascots. One parent alikened them to “reanimated carcasses”.

    • @@worminaroundI think what he meant was "Why do they have a british accent, including the kids, when they've been living in the US ever since the great depression?", which is a valid question to ask. Ludwig's brother from another mother, cdawgva, lost his heavy welsh accent just a couple years of living away from wales. That's why it's weird how thick the characters' british accents are considering how long they've been living in the US according to the lore.

    • @idiosyncrasy7703 Afton family's fucked up, he could've intentionally trained himself to keep the accent and disciplined his kids to do the same to keep up appearances or something idk. Then again most of FNAF lore is really just filling in the blanks with something you have no evidence for

It's a better story, but not really accurate. For example, literally all the rambling about William being so devoted to the bear animatronic concepts, that Ludwig made fun of, isn't really real FNAF canon. It's just not explained.

  • 30:46 - As an American with British heritage, I know the reason as to why they are British. Their last name, Afton, originates from the Isle of Wight, which is an island located on the English Channel making the whole family British. This means that William Afton's parents, had to have been immigrated to the USA before 1930s [from MatPat's theory] due to WWII's London bombing despite that was in the 1940s. This also means that during the immigration, William Afton kept his English/British accent since childhood, which means his kids [despite born American] all have English accents.
