It appears many people have taken offense to me saying that the instrument is an “electric violin”. This is what the person who owns that instrument told me:
“theres this movement of classical musicians who like to hate on electric violinists for being different and straying from the classical tradition. It is a violin. The inventor is a violinist who went to Juilliard. It’s played with a bow and it has the same range as a violin. It can also play the range of a viola and a cello. Much like they make 5 and 6 string basses they also make 5 6 and 7 string violins. Everyone who’s hating just doesn’t want to open their mind to the possibilities of violin and its a battle ive been fighting with haters for a long time”

The fingerboard radius has been decreased to fit the playing style of a violin and (as little as possible of) the body shape has been approximated to a violin, but that is about it - the instrument itself is much more guitar that violin. There *_are_* electric voilins out there, and they look and play nothing like this hybrid construction.

He's very interested in Undertale music, and since he has a lot of time on his hands, he practices around 1-2 hours a day, so he learns very quickly it is a pain tho, cuz he doesn't have perfect pitch, so if I tell him to play a C he'll give me an F :/ violins r pretty pricy, and u probably already know but a Stradivarius could buy u a car! my own violin costs around 6000 USD, my current bow costs around 300 or so I actually have 2 teachers, because my mom was paranoid and didn't want me to develop a bad posture. those classes together, two classes a week, cost around 100 per week, but you don't need that many classes to be good at an instrument. like if you can only afford a barely-playable violin and bow, and less than 10 lessons, you'd still get pretty far if you put effort into it! also ur not the only one wondering what they're gonna do with their dumb life

There was one house in my town with that kind of dedication to Christmas lights. They had LED screens with videos playing and a sign with a radio frequency on it. If you went to that station the music would sync with the lights on the house, and the screens. Truly spectacular.

I grew up across the cornfield from the decorated house. It’s in Elburn, Illinois and has its own radio station so people that stop to watch the display can listen to the music that it’s synced with without leaving their vehicles
