I really like seeing these blocks of games. See how people adjust the strategy each time. The range of dps on laser weapons e.g.40-80 is a nice new change. It's damage at Max range-Min range, as lasers usually lose 50% with distance. The old dps numbers were a bit misleading.

And the flanking damage is actually up to +100%, yes double! Say two grunts flanks a tank. the way it works is the the first bot will do normal damage, and then the second one will do at most double depending on the angle. So overall you're getting 150% out of the grunts, best case. And as you're coming in on one side it's going to be less than that so +25% is probably a more realistic number unless you get a full wrap around a stationary LLT.

ahh cheers for clearing that one up! I didn't realize it was actually double from the back. Getting a good wrap around always feels good and now i know why.

That's one of the main reasons I do this format more often than not. I like to see how pro players change up the tactics on the same map whether they win or lose or if they notice the opponent is doing something different.

that map has more than 1k metal to be reclaim so his idea was having ewclaiming bots pomping his eco and getting units earlier to have more map space

hi did the strat quite poorly cuz he could had pile up 3 bots and gone for the metal eextractors , meanwhile getting atleast 1 con

Proof that even pros make mistakes! Getting res bots out early are a great investment 80% of the time or maybe even more. Usually by the time your opponent finds and murders them you've made your money back 😉
