  • Drawing in black ballpoint pen is one of my favorite supplies! Pen drawings really do make you slow down because each mark is final, there is no erasing. You’re videos are so inspirational. Hope one day my videos will be to this caliber

    • Drawing in pencil is tedious because of the fading and repetitive factor. Ink is more restrictive but less time consuming and shows up well

  • I've probably watched a thousand art sketching drawing painting videos on YT. I think this may be the finest one I've ever seen. Portraits are probably the most difficult skill to learn in art, and doing them directly in ink with no pencil sketch makes it about 5 times more difficult. (Yes I try.) So I'm not sure people realize how incredibly skillful and artful this demonstration is because you make it look so effortless. Just superb. This is worth watching over and over.

  • You are so in your own pocket. Even though you are an exceptional artist, i don't watch your videos for the art and the art advice. I watch because I enjoy being part of this world you have carved out for yourself. I recognize that your world is built on self-love and lots of dedication. Please always stay true to yourself and your vision. Please never create anything just because it will get you followers. I wish you to stay so deep in your own pocket that you can never be shaken out of it by external temptations. If you want to get weird or post something unusual, go for it!   • I'm getting lost in this video, every time there is a video of ink I enjoy your teaching lessons you give. Thank you for this topic, it was highly requested for real girl. Can you help me/us know, when artist working on their drawings and paints of their artwork, what defines things like 'title', 'description' and other listed things that are describing art, I'm trying to figure how one artist desires to understand these things, hope I'm clear to where I am getting at? Tips and guides of how to question the output of creating last impression that you aim to draw in your audience to feel your art including what draws in researching this things, to do homework to learn about.   • Lovely work! I'm taking a course on ink sketching, so this is helpful . The instructor has started with exercises that seem much more related to illustration or cartoon. ie based on one's imagination more than 'reality'. We'll see

  • Gorgeous composition! Brave of you to dive right in with a brush-tip. I find starting with a fineliner allows one to get away with construction lines and work 'em into the rendering later on.

Do you improvise and pull them from imagination, from the experience of having drawn so many faces, or do you collect and use reference images too?   • A lot of art teachers emphasize you should draw with mediums you cannot erase and i think this is the way, because you will never learn your mistakes if you erase it.

  • Mentally and psychically engaging, but physiologically rolling me in, as well. I kept getting pulled out of the eye-dancing captivation of watching movement in lines, Because my body would bounce me out, demanding I be a tie-breaker!!! : my cheeks wanting to beam, but my jaw wanting to drop at the same time. 😂❤ (surprisingly hard to do simultaneously, it turns out 😊😮) !! Watching these drawings is so viscerally fun. Beautiful work ❤❤❤
