I mean it makes sense when you consider billions have already died in a war lasting over 1000 years. Plus the UEF are on the brink of extinction by this point. Its basically the equivalent of pushing the nuclear button

The UEF have the nicest units but are so evil. Mind controlling Cybrans, wiping out peaceful aliens and destroying everyone on several worlds when they're about to lose. I gotta as it's a good thing the Aeon won canonically. Granted a lot of them were not great either. But at least the princess wanted peace :P

Yes i was going to say there no mention of who has win, but then i remember at the start of the campaign that was this cinematic that showed the history, and its show, ''at the years X the firing of the black sun create a weakspot in the quantum fabric'' So yes the UEF win canonically and its been confirmed

There are more endings than just the three at the end. If you die or fail, then that is technically an ending.

If you look at the time summary at the beginning of the FA, you will see that the princess did not disappear on the day of the shot, but several days later. Moreover, if the princess had pacified everyone, then where would Kael and her fanatics come from? In addition, Markson's military mutiny was not in the canon either. In the third mission to Blue Sky, the princess makes it clear that she is not aware that Markson is involved in Toth's demise. It’s not a fact that he even has anything to do with this. Against this background, the formation of an alliance is logical.

Cybran ending is canon because Cybran and Aeon militaries still exist in Forged Alliance, Seraphim took 2 years to get to Capella which is only like 42 light-years from Earth i.e. long distance quantum travel stopped working. The only reason the Coalition won the war was cause the Cybrans had enough forces to reinforce the UEF remnant against the Order of the Illuminate and Seraphim.

Guardian54 No the Aeon ending is canon as the Cyrban ending results in the gate's destroyed & all factions isolated. The Aeon ending results in actual peace & intact gate's allowing the FA to be formed.
