Exactly, they are meant to be sheep herding dogs (aka working dogs) that protect the sheep from any predators and also guide them. If you adopted one as a pet, it would be bad for the dog because they are bred to work and also not to mention the huge amount of meat you have to feed it (expensive) and also the rigorous training you would have to put it through to get it even remotely domesticated. They are also highly independent dogs which means they prefer to be left alone then be by their owners all the time. The base cost for a single puppy is also very expensive (1,500-4,000). Nope they're different. Not very different but still not the exact same. Kangals are slightly bigger and have an even coat. Anatolians have a thick coat around their neck (like a lion). Anatolians are also allowed to have more color. Kangals are basically going to be fawn with a black mask. Their temper Is the same as well as their instincts.

Exactly, they are meant to be sheep herding dogs (aka working dogs) that protect the sheep from any predators and also guide them. If you adopted one as a pet, it would be bad for the dog because they are bred to work and also not to mention the huge amount of meat you have to feed it (expensive) and also the rigorous training you would have to put it through to get it even remotely domesticated. They are also highly independent dogs which means they prefer to be left alone then be by their owners all the time. The base cost for a single puppy is also very expensive (1,500-4,000). You could get one if you are willing to go through all those things and being a sheep farmer.@@oneson450sxf7

Nope they're different. Not very different but still not the exact same. Kangals are slightly bigger and have an even coat. Anatolians have a thick coat around their neck (like a lion). Anatolians are also allowed to have more color. Kangals are basically going to be fawn with a black mask. Their temper Is the same as well as their instincts.
