  • I love the idea that, the guy using the crayon was so tormented and driven insane by being alone, surrounded by a seemingly happy area that he couldn't escape no matter how hard he tried, that when he encountered the monster, he was happy. He was absolutely thrilled at the idea of something to come and 'free' him, no matter how painful it'd be, his final message being a message to 'let him free you'. His final moments must have been full of so much madly gleeful laughter, hugging the creature as it eviscerated him.

  • I like how this wasn’t a very eventful episode compared to the previous ones. After experiencing all the chases and noises of the those, you now expect something to happen in this one, which leaves you on edge the whole time. This area is now one of my favorite places you’ve rendered because I think there’s just something so uncanny about it. Like a place you would see in a dream or a hollow recreation by some external being, without all the life and light of the real place.

"I was at a party" - I was thinking the person in uniform was at some important gathering since he or she was in a uniform. Nope, our lost wonderer was at a kids party in a clown costume and he clumsily clipped into the appropriate backrooms portal. The perfect hell for a real life party clown! Great work as always :D

  • Of all the Backrooms content online, yours is by far my favorite. It doesn't rely on the (quite frankly childish) Backrooms wiki, it retains the eerily nostalgic empty vibe of liminal spaces while still filling it with just enough entities and classical horror to keep it interesting, it has some of the most unique locations you can imagine, and it even has a captivating story to follow. It's truly the best. Keep up the good work!!

    • Thank you so much! I also created this series because of that exact same reason. To create a better version of the (not so good) backrooms wiki and making my own versions and maintain the iconic horror it once had. ( Until everyone jumped on the low effort backrooms found footage bandwagon)

    • It helps that this series is one creator's vision. The Backrooms wiki is free to edit and create pages for any random person with a Fandom account, so there's tons of trash there. The Backrooms Wikidot is way better when it comes to quality since everything has to be approved by admins and can be removed if downvoted enough, but it focuses more on worldbuilding and a mix of genres rather than just horror, so it's not really comparable to this, nor should it be!

      @speedslider3913@speedslider3913 Жыл бұрын
    • @@lostinthehyperverse Great content but don't let your success go to your head. You made low quality / low effort creations once upon a time, because everyone who works in entertainment and creativity- in any skill whatsoever starts out that way, no exceptions. The others just chose to show their current process of it while it's in its infancy whereas you did not. In fact, even you're still learning and cannot compare yourself to other more skilled experts. I'm sure you wouldn't be too happy for someone with further knowledge than you to say your work is low effort because you pop these things out within 1-2 months rather than 5 months. Sure, your current level of skill may be greater than others, but what about your current attitude? You're the only one so far out of all the other backroom creators that I've seen degrade another creator's work for having less knowledgable skill. I hope you ruminate on that. The last thing you would want is to have your reputation ruined after all your hard work, all because you got a little too big for your britches in one comment. The internet doesn't forget.

Dreams that even now thinking back as far as we can for being adults, now exist merely at the very distant fringes of our subconscious. Dreams we can vividly recall from a time long ago, but at the same time, we can only vaguely remember in image. Like our past is beckoning to us to relive past days of sorts...

  • This is by far the best backrooms video I have ever seen. Not gonna lie. Throughout the video. I bursted into strong tears. For some reason the music and atmosphere of the video brought on memories. I’m 18 years old and I remember bounce house theme parks, Chuck E. Cheese restaurants, and other fun places as a kid. Like you said, the past is slowly fading away. Until it will be completely gone. The memory of these places and the joy we had in them as children will die with us. No other generation will ever experience the fun and joy we had in these places. From turning 8 years old and blowing out our candles, receiving that special hug from our parents, opening presents and playing with our friends in the bounce houses. It’s all over. The only thing that lays way in the future, is technological dystopia. The places of the past are crumbling, from shopping malls to all the places we enjoyed as kids. It’s all over. God bless you man. When and if I have kids, I hope I can make them experience what we experienced, if it will even be possible. 😢😭😔

  • Character is cononically a kid, now, given that numerous times they went out of their way to go on some slides while trapped in an immensely dangerous, surreal liminal universe. All the balloons are fully inflated, even the ones on the ground, which is very subtlty supernatural. Also the balloons frozen in the air(we don't talk about those). 3:18 Chair is sat in 3:21 Scratches high-up on the wall 3:49 The grime here is dirtier than the previous rooms(from what I remember). The last levels had sllime(and decay of course), but this one is almost muddy. This could be a nod to the ruggedness of child-play in the places this gets inspiration from, as well as the puddles which start appearing. I wonder where the water comes from. 7:15 I wonder if all the tipped-over chairs are sat in... and the kid writing in this level is why they are tipped over 9:31 "I'm tired of looking at all of these colors it hurts my eyes" I just realized: with all this water everywhere, this place seems like it would be pretty humid, right? 11:33 What do the flickering lights spell? Anyone? 15:04 Notice there aren't any handles 16:13 Whats up there? Why did this ceiling piece fall? 16:22 These messages aren't for anyone but the person trapped: what would you do if you found yourself so utterly trapped in isolation? How would you vent your frustration? Breaking things, and graffitti/vandalism. Anything to rebel, to put a marker that you've been there, that you exist... anything... 21:44 And we've got another mystery phrase: What do these flickering lights spell? Also: ceiling wires seems like a bad sign 23:03 I don't know about you, but that water looks like a trail to me 27:15 I'm sorry, but that stuff written on the wall wasn't written by just a kid with a crayon. Something is going on here, and it probably has to due with the raspberry jelly that looks so tasty 29:01 No sight, no taste... if the kid is a monster now, is that their weakness? 30:37 Yep, they're blind now, and destroyed their mouth/throat so they couldn't yell anymore 30:52 Notice that the APRF have sectioned off all the writing on the wall, meaning the kid was there before the APRF 31:41 Theory Contadicted: Not all the tipped over chairs are sat in 33:52 Why didn't you learn your lesson the first time nooo! • What a strange feeling this video gave me. In the first half with the quite serene Happy BIrthday melody playing in the background and the abscene of any threats (I mean our protagonist went out of his way twice to go down a slide), I just couldn't stop reminiscing my own childhood. Thinking back to merrier times, when you had no real worries. Enjoying school, hanging out with friends, going on vacations with family, attending birthday parties and much more. Just knowing that those times are in the past and that I will never go back to them actually made me feel genuinely sad. I definetely didn't expect getting this feeling from a video of the Backrooms. Which made it even more suprising and impactful. I wouldn't be suprised if many people found this video ''boring''. But for me, this must have been your best video so far. The faraway music present in every room was a nice touch. I loved that the focus was on immersion and exploration rather than the entity itself, while maintaining some horror elements like the crayon messages and indications of APRF’s presence. The camera man being silent but still displaying personality was awesome, I really felt like I was there with him. Having him look back so often really built up the tension and unease. The camera’s movements felt so realistic. I especially liked the balloon paranoia scene that occurred right after the camera man examined the blinking light and saw the warning. But of course I don't get the sense of dread walking through those malls, more I get a sense of something abandoned and forgotten while the rest of the world moves forward. Very well done!

  • love how in videos before there, there was always a sense of needing to escape something, like each level had a thing trying to get you and every time you look away it's closer if you look back. In this level he keeps looking back because previous levels have trained him to, but there is nothing perceivable here until it's almost over. Then, OOPS, they were always here you just didn't notice them. Also, that mutated guy at the end, I could tell he wasn't dead. He was "freed" therefor living in their time-space. Looking away from him triggered his ability to traverse his time-space. As soon as I saw the blood trail, I knew he shouldn't follow it. Can't wait for the next episode!

  • Damn, that was a quick one! Can't wait to see what's in store for us with one of the most popular levels of the Backrooms! I'm noticing a couple interesting things... how the protagonist goes down every slide they find, either because they're very nostalgic and enjoyable to them or, as someone else suggested, because they may change reality around them. Another thing I noticed was the continued degradation of the environment as we kept going, from fully decorated rooms, to rooms with simpler ceilings, to these ceilings starting to appear broken, with wires coming out. Finally, the emphasis on the sheet amount of color in this level, and how someone lost their mind over it. I'm only halfway through, I have yet to see it... Oh, looks like our A.P.R.F. buddies are back here too! And there's a lot of doors too, maybe these are the ones the previous dude was counting alongside the days? And of course, more blood fungus. Entity 0, right? Or is it something else, the thing made by Lavender? "Embrace it. You will be set free. Be me, be free"... Judging by the images of the five senses, I think the guy got what he wanted. A way to avoid looking at the colors anymore... and apparently the sense of taste too? Or do you mean the ability of speech? "No more yelling", yeah, that was it. Either way, it can still feel, smell... and hear. Oh, a detector of visual illusions! And it's blinking... that can't be good. Oh God, the smiley balloons... Oh. The clown. That was his uniform, that's why he was at a party. He was an entertainer. Kind of a bad line of work to choose if you can't handle more than five colors at once. Still, poor guy. Whatever it was that he let embrace him, it left a really bad mark. And he's still kickin'... That's horrifying. I thinkwe found our Partygoer =) Oh! A transcript of the notes! Interesting... someone was preventing the APRF from trying to find Rosemary's House, the Sector/Level they had missed, I'm assuming it's numbered 5 by them. Perhaps Rosemary? Maybe she's not as nice... Or maybe she started doing it after she found out about Lavender's true personality, and wanted to prevent people from stumbling into it. But in that case, why did she let us inside her house anyway? Maybe the situation really was dire with the Faceling Statues? On a side note, they skipped over Level 8 while mentioning these. I wonder why...

  • Can I just say that I love the personality you've given your Wanderer? Like, you can tell just how on edge he is by the way they're constantly stopping and observing the area around them, almost like they're going, "What was that? Did I see/hear something?" It just shows how mentally worn down he is, that he's ready for something to go down at any second. But at the same time, you show that he occasionally needs some levity to take the edge off, too. Even if it's something as simple as a quick trip down a slide, any fun in this living nightmare is welcome.

  • There’s just something about this level that so nostalgic yet so sad… Idk what it is…but it’s a sense of a long lost happiness that is slowly being faded away. The sad piano birthday song…colorful walls and playground, the slides the cheerful carpet. The atmosphere reminds me of my childhood how easy life was before much simpler much more fun…all this new technology we have nowadays, kids of new generations will not have that same glee we 90s-early 2000s kids had back then. The rooms are filled with toys and fun…but there are no children to play with them…the balloons are floating…but there is no one to catch them… And this Backrooms level perfectly gives that feeling of a happy memory now disappearing as time flies and goes on and the older we get the more we are more focused on our problems and lives that we won’t remember what it was like being a kid

I thought that they couldn't get any better but you proved me wrong with the enhanced video footage. Your style of suspense and psychological horror is unrivaled. I whole heartedly believe that the most effective form of fear is dread. And I felt dread all along. The occasional turning around and uncertainty of the camera man truly hit home those feelings. I even had a nightmare after watching it last night. This is superior work. I am so grateful to follow your channel! Best of success! At 20:29 I said, "Go down the slide now!" and at 21:13 he actually went down the slide. I was delighted at that part...matter of fact, I was happy you made this video in general. At 34:55, when I saw the clown dead, I said, "Oh, my boy had it rough," but then once the clown disappeared, and saw Play written on the wall, my jaw had the force of 10g on itself. Someone in the comments section in the Suburbs video speculated the Backrooms itself might be an entity. Perhaps that's where all the written messages are really coming from; the entity that is the Backrooms likes to play with its prey. Slowly destroy their sanity before finishing them off. Or consuming them. Or turning them into something else.

And I feel bad for those that wrote scary things on the walls including one of them that said they couldn’t escape when they felt alone by a surrounding happy place. Like something didn’t feel right. And from the looks of how eerie it looked, I’d say it’s probably been abandoned since probably the 90’s due to the camera timeline in the first part saying 2006. So perhaps the place was built sometime before that year. It might’ve been left to rot for so long due to a handful of incidents and possibly Violation scandals by the staff members.

  • things i noticed: 1. the blinking letters in [GO]LDEN PARA[DI]S[E] spell out *GO DIE* 2. again, in CLOU[D] FI[E]LD P[ATH]WAYS it's *DEATH* 3. APRF has giant red fleshy mass warnings, but not glitch warnings? i think glitches are way more common in the Backrooms 4. damn APRF really needs to up their game, missing an entire level

  • Wow, I never how much I could love something that scared me so much. Good job with everything! I love the way the camera moves, the animation, the models, and especially the scrawled messages. I really wish this was a game I could play.

  • I like the way the protagonist of this video acts like a child because as soon as he sees a slide he goes back to his childhood and will want to do it

  • This is definitely not a surprise but your twist on this level is superb! 👍 I thought the smiling balloons part was clever. To be honest, I wasn't expecting how this video ended but makes me look forward to how it's gonna go for the camera man!

  • The immersion I'm feeling right now! With the happy birthday song on loop, I'm almost going insane too!!! Great work, I almost got uninterested with backrooms stuff (i forgot) and then I remembered your channel! And just like 9 months ago, you got me hooked now too!

  • I know a lot of people are pointing out the sound design and such, but one aspect of this video that really does it for me is the sheer size of the rooms. It does a really great job of portraying just how massive play centers like this felt when you were a kid, with the ceiling towering above you. Great video, as always!
