What an absolute gent. Always wore his heart on his sleeve and that's all you can ask from a player. Never once did he not give his all. Big part of bringing Leeds back to the Premiership and you should be very proud for the career you had here. All the best Luke.

Boro fan here, seeing your fanbase, players and club as a whole with such an outpouring over love and respect says everything about the player we're getting. Just thought you'd like an update, he made his debut today, full 90 and he made a huge difference, his leadership qualities are plain to see and he'll help us no end hopefully get into the play offs with you guys. One of a handful of players I've watched growing up with Leeds United who will stand the test of time as a bonafide Leeds legend. Throughout on and off games, you could tell Bill always gave his all, and that's all we ever want. Playing the game equally with a snarl and a smile, and being respectful, genuine, and humble at the same time. MOT Bill, you were there for us, and we're there for you.
