They got so much wrong in this vid it can only be classed as poor content. For goodness sake they even claimed that the junk BWW s1000rr won BSB and WSBK. It done nothing of the sort, it got humilated by the yamahas and Ducatis even the zx10 beat it with an actual title. It was a fisher price race bike and these two made out that it conquered the world. Yeah they should stop trying to shoehorn BMW into motorbike racing history as they dont have any history in it. Gone to far with the blatant BMW fanboy baloney now so if you need a few reasons to why we feel the content is lacking then theres a few for you. And yes, we will stop watching and unsub if it doesnt get better, you dont need to tell us we dont need to watch pal. Wind yer narcissistic comments back and let people speak.

  • Hi Alex, I don't recommend changing loads of parts on the Suzuki because it might get really expensive really quickly. Gareth mentioned the secondary butterflies: there is a motor(which operates the secondary valves) which is sealed with rivets (needs to be drilled off). There are solder which sometimes crack and they loose contact. It's really easy fix and I have done it on my friends K4 600. I really recommend to check it out first before touching anything else!

    • @@leba4651multimeter checks on coils only show up two possible faults of about 50 possible mate. All you can check for is resistance and continuity of coils with the multimeters lowest of the low current going through it. It in no way finds every duff coil. These era gixers are known for coils going on track bikes and it fries the insulators on the plugs as they go. Its not that its an unreliable bike, all bikes get duff coils when raced a lot especially Honda. Yamahas are the best as they use the outboard motor/jetski ones with the big dollop of epoxy at the top of the tube part. Ironically the cheapest & nastiest made coil packs fitted to any sportsbike in history are in that s1000rr junk heap.

Had two s1000rr back from 09 to 2012 and both were terrible constant electrical issues and the plastics all fade and break from the year mark. The last one untuned decided to roast piston 1 and take a tumble in the barrel. My mates S1000rrs all the same melted top ends and dropped valves. No idea why people buy them out of warranty as the engines are 30k miles at most between bangs. Chris Northwood the other day i seen his spanking new M1000rr fresh out the box dropped a valve racing Mat Watson😂 Junk bikes.

    • they are new to bikes. Can tell too with the claim they made that s1000rr dominated BSB and WSB when in reality it got tonked and BMWs only success was at the IOM for a short period as BMW offloaded all the race chassis that nobody bought as the chassis was wooden when you turned the assists off.

  • This is more my kinda thing. Although I'm interested in the car stuff because I'm mechanic working as an Audi Tech, I have a 2019 Aprilia RSV4 RF and the bikes are definitely my biggest passion. I would like to see more of this

  • 90’s Ducati’s are of a different class. My cousin had a 916 which was awesome. I never went on it with him but it sounded epic.

  • Alex mate, I had the same issue on my K2 GSXR which turned out to be the fuel pump... Worked perfectly with full power until warm then not throttle/power. Might be worth looking into to see if that helps your issue?

  • I have been in love with that Ducati and its big brother the 916 since 1996 or so. THE prettiest sportbikes ever made.

  • Hey Alex check on the stator and rectifier on the gsxr. my 06 has the same issue. if the bike gets extremely hot it will fry the wiring connectors. :) seems to be the only thing wrong with my gixxer though. been reliable everywhere else!

  • Hard to beat an almost Matrix Reloaded rumbly hammer cycle! A questions for all the boys - what's your perspectives on cruiser and dual sport motorcycles? Would be brilliant to see a roadtrip or some green laning stuff with them.

  • You guys need to pop over to France to the Mangy Course Race track!! That would be a good couple of days' worth of riding for you both and a good chance to give a review on speed, fuel, comfort etc and maybe set a challenge or 2. If my 2023 Royal-enfield super meteor 650 can do it you guys can as well. Ps mine did 210 miles to the tank riding between 70 and 90mph over there.

  • I used to own a rr6 Fireblade - daily rode it and it never missed a beat. Would do well over 70mph in first gear, but also pull from standstill in 3rd and would ride like a twist and go scooter in town. Still miss it.

  • Now i miss my 748. Thanks Alex. Also i was told by my mechanic to let the engine of the 748 when you start it, just to let it idle for 5minutes before giving it any throttle... because Ducati.
