It’s because the U.S. is largely at fault for all of these. They made us look weak by not reeling in Israel when they started to get too cocky. This means the Middle East now sees war against Israel as inevitable and a united Middle East is a lot different than a war against just Syria or just Iraq or just Afghanistan.

The Military has no right to share it's operational plans with the public and it has good reason behind this. Think of the US service Men and Women working around this situation in the region, imagine your boss telling the world all it's plans then telling you to go conduct a dangerous mission, knowing the enemy knows your next moves.

It was unprecedented because Iran has never fired missiles directly from their home turf. They've always used proxies to do it. What's unprecedented is Israel bombing an embassy.

They gave a 72 hour warning. They also said where they'll strike. They gave Israel every opportunity to get its rocket defenses and Israel still failed. Iran is definitely acting very maturely and calculated about all of this.
