Today, we're testing infamous malwares: ICO, Bonzi Buddy, Moscovium, and Memz 3.0, against leading antiviruses: Windows Defender, Bitdefender, Kaspersky, and Norton 360. Produced by anonymous creators, these computer viruses are in no particular order and are all set for a face-off vs major antivirus solutions. Hold tight for this epic cyber battle!

  • The anti-viruses at the beginning of each round already spotted the virus and asked the user to delete it. I'd say that's a win on my book since, the anti-virus already executed the best technique to avoid having a virus, which is to not run it and eliminate it immediately.

  • the reason kaspersky didnt work is because the second the virus starts, it unlocks the Master Boot Record, and deletes it, it also deletes system32 files, that stop the MBR from being recovered, so if you had the antivirus fully running before the virus started, you would have most likely not have a corrupt MBR.

  • you can actually fix the mbr by going to the setup and Pressing Shift + F10 which opens cmd, and when cmd gets opened u can type bootrec /fixmbr and then restart.

  • the viruses that "delete everything arent actually deleting everything, just removing the MBR which makes the cmoputer unbootable. also after you run it it nearly instantly deletes the MBR so the antivirus cant do much. also its pretty impressive that it managed to stop memz. it has about 8 processes monitoring eachother, and if one detects that another one has been killed, it will crash the computer. even though it managed to remove the virus and stop it without triggering the crash payload (i suppose it killed all 8 of them at once) your MBR and BCD will still be screwed up

    • Because it didnt memz already destroyed the boot sector so the pc is far from being able to boot again. He didnt restart the pc in the vid. But if he would have he would see the pc would not boot.

  • In the installer press Shift+F10 and run some commands to repair just the MBR and bootloader.

  • (A helpful tip for storage devices) If you didn't know, when stuff gets deleted from your computer, it isn't actually deleted, it's just marked as "empty". That is until you create new data. Then it gets "overwritten" or baked into that deleted file, corrupting the file.

    • Theoretically, it never gets deleted just overwritten, when you delete a file from a hard disk , the OS will configure one sector of the hard disk to locate the data you want to delete and to disolve the first letter of the file so the system won't be able to find itt in it's original filename but with a special character before it, that's why you can recover files with software, ttthey undo the process before it's too late

    • @@Evanszy I had the default mcafee on my computer for 3 months and i thought it was a good antivirus until I ran "malwarebytes"It founded 120 threats on my computer that hasent been resolved. Mcafee also makes computer slow asf. You said about "blocking malware" but this video is LETTING the malware in. So if you let it in mcafee isnt going to do no shit. I changed to norton approximately 5 months ago and its great! Please leave mcafee alone. Be careful tho it sends a virus to you computer when you remove the program.

  • Yo I have a question. I downloaded a virus by accident on my pc. My screen flicked black and started to get rainbow colours. I unplugged the internet. The computer crashed. I can’t start it anymore and the repair boot thing comes. I can’t open bios or anything other. Is my computer fully dead or can a reset save it?

  • Nothing like having plenty of virtual machines that are inside a virtual disposable hard drive (a file). Simply throw it away and move to the next virtual machine. Bet he won't run those viruses on his real PC! Who would?

    • Lol, antiviruses are basically useless nowadays due to how secure browsers are. I haven't had one for years. The only way you can get malware is if you download a file onto your computer and run it. Then it's your own mistake.
