  • Life long Coventry supporter and Irish man here. CCFC are one of the oldest English clubs and they way they got screwed over re Highfield Road and essentially plummeted into obscurity was a tragedy. But it looks like Sky Blues are on their way back to the top tier. P.S. Who knows what we might have done in Europe if hooliganism hadn't cocked it all up?

  • Yeah good Atmosphere. I'm an exile Mancunian what lives in Scarborough now I've supported Manchester City for 40 years. My last City game was three seasons ago v Norwich. First game of the season. We were reigning champions and the atmosphere was fucking pitful. And nearly 50 Pound for the privilege. That was it for me, sick and tired of ludicrous ticket prices, fed up sat with corporate and day trippers who only jumped on the football bandwagon after Euro 96. Sick and tired of silly kick off days and times to accommodate Sky and TNT Sports. It was done with an heavy heart and maybe living 115 mile away made the decision easier. City will always be my club in my blood. But I just enjoy the match day experience anymore. It's not the game I grew up with stood on the kippax at Maine Road in the 80s,90, even early 00s, I watch Scarborough now love none league football.

You may get promoted...but you'll be back down. Too good for the championship but not good enough for the premiership. As for our little club..we just keep on going...grinding results out.... PUSB
