  • When my daughter was 3, we were advised that there was a threadworm infection that was passed round nursery due the sandbox 🤢. I got the treatment and explained to my daughter what it was for. She suddenly bursts into tears ‘I don’t want you to kill the baby worms, they are my friends! It’s not nice to kill babies’ I had to explain that there were likely only grown up worms as the babies were the eggs. She finally relented - I guess it was nice to kill grown ups😂

  • For the little boy who said you have to look serious for a costume like this - I hope his mom let him take some photos like he wanted, not just smiling. Nothing wrong with the situation, but I remember I had a “weird” (or, original) way of looking at things as a kid and they were always shot down. I think he’s got some awesome creative vision and we should nurture that in everyone!
