New Mum Needs Help With Her Garden! TOTAL OVERGROWN jungle | Of course I said yes | TRANSFORMATION
A new mum with a three month old baby asked for my help to clear up her garden, she's only weeks away from moving in. No way could I say no to this job, she sent me pictures and called for my help, I said yes without a second thought.
I was limited to time during the initial tidy up, the weather forecast was grim to say the least. I estimated 3-4 hours to get this job to some level of completion, I hope its enough.
I knew lots would still be left to do, but without knowing where the garden is underneath all the brambles and trees there wouldn't be much I could do.
Hope you enjoy this little overgrown garden transformation.
Thank you so much for watching,
Martin The Garden Guy.

I'm so sad that she was going to have to move in with the garden like this, it must have been really overwhelming for her, especially with a new baby. Well done to you for not only creating a nicer space, but for taking some of that worry off her shoulders! ❤❤
Honestly, I was quite concerned as well. I moved my work diary around to get this one in really quickly. And traveled a lot further than I normally do to 😅 But I'm glad I did. It was quite a bit of fun. You never really know what you're gonna find in a garden like this 🤣 And the job seems far from done yet. Thank you so much for your comment It's truly appreciated. All the best, Martin.
@@martinthegardenguy you're very welcome, I look forward to the end result. 😊
Instead of a string line, try using a Blade head. It will cut Bramble easier and mulch it quicker for you to remove.
Totally agree 👍 but like a Muppet I'd brought the brush cutter blade head but not the hex wrench to swap it over 🤣 Live and learn 😁 Thanks for the sensible comment though, much appreciated. All the best Martin.
@pietlammers1580 thank you 😊 really appreciate it.
Totally agree, it is a blade, so can cut better .
@@martinthegardenguy You don't want a brushcutter head (like a circular saw), what you need is a mulching blade (you may need a strimmer with a bigger engine)
That was one rough job!!! I don't know how you kept your spirit up to keep going! Someone let that place go for way too long....and you were a darling for tackling it!!!!
Oh thanks 😊 most kind of you. It was a shame, if you look closely, you can see how loved the garden had been in the past. Bird houses, bug hotels, a gate leading to the horse paddocks. It's much have been lovely. Hopefully, I'll make it so again 🤞 Thanks again for the kind comment Much appreciated 🙏 Martin
What a fantastic job you have done there. Well done 👍🌟🌟🌟
Thank you 😊 very much , very kind of you to say. Thanks for watching Martin
Brilliant job, young man!!! Such hard work!! Bless you!!
Oh, thank you 😊 🙏
Such a difference! It really will help the new mom to be able to step outside for a breath of fresh air. Makes all the difference in the world!
I totally agree 👍 Fresh air and an outdoor space, it's the best 👌 😊 I'll be finishing off the garden next week to make it totally baby proof 🤣 if that's even possible. Thank you kindly for the comment All the best Martin
Amazing transformation !!!! I search this guy today . And now i am a follower !!! His job is great !!!! As people job who clean houses . This transformations give owners healthier life !!
Thank you 😊 I'm glad you've subscribed, I hope you continue to enjoy. Thanks for the lovely comment Much appreciated Martin.
It can be hard at times for older folks to trust others as they hear so much about people taking advantage of them. Thank you for baking it safe for him.
Thanks, lovely comment. I have actually been back a few time to see Pete. He's a cracking bloke, also makes a decent cup of coffee 😂😁
@@martinthegardenguy Wonderful. I am certain he is glad for the company.
What a difference! You did a great job on this place. I would love to see you finish it up. This has tons of potential. Thank you so much for helping this new mother. She is going to have her hands full for a while. Now she can bring the baby outside. This is so great. Thank you again. You did an excellent job clearing all the vines and baby trees! ❤️
Oh, hello, Texas 👋 great to hear from you. Glad you liked the video. I'll be doing quite a bit more in the coming weeks. I'm still formulating a plan 🤣 happy to hear your thoughts. I've got a 2 & 3 year old son and a daughter and they love our garden ❤️, so hopefully I can get it ready for her baby to enjoy. My two wouldn't be without their garden Thanks for the kind comments, as always. Martin.
@@martinthegardenguy that’s awesome! When I was little, I spent more time outside than in. Kids need dirt and sunshine to thrive! Enjoy those little ones, they grow fast! ❤️
Very nice job! New Mom surely will be greatful to have safe space for baby. 👍👍
Thanks Bill, much appreciated. I've still got to remove all spikey bits and do a bit more work. But it should be fit for purpose by the time I'm done 😁👍
Nice. Really nice. I’m sure she will enjoy the space immensely. Good job.
My Oh My....what a mess...Good thing you had Plan C.🎉 Well, you have sure made a hit with the brambles!😂 Take care, Becky 🎉 You are doing a bang up job.
Cheers Becky 😊👍 I ended up on plan G by the end 🤣 I'd not got a lot of my kit with me, so I had to keep being creative 😆 And it's still not finished. Thanks again Martin
Another great video ! You worked very hard on this garden , you must of had some sore muscles . Like your funny bits also . New mom will be overjoyed to have such a special place ! Live in Kentucky USA😀
Oh, thanks for this lovely comment ❤️ really appreciate it. I'm glad you're enjoying the videos. Hope you had a great Christmas, best of luck in the new year. All the best Kentucky, from Nottingham ❤️
Boy, I bet plenty of us wish we had a nice stone patio like that in our yards. It has so much potential, especially for a container garden.
Oh yeah, I agree. They'd be lovely if they were cleaned up and re-pointed. A lot of them were very wonky and needed some work to fix. But after that, they'd be loads of room for plenty of containers ☺️
The transformation on this one could really be impressive! What you've done is massive! I was so surprised by the back gate and size of the patio! ❤
Thank you so much. I totally appreciate it ☺️ Hopefully, you think it looked ok, it was a race against the weather so I had to move quickly. Thanks again Martin
I absolutely love videos like this where it is all so overgrown that everything in the back yard is a discovery! She is going to have lots of places for a sandbox and play yard in the future, thanks to your work!
Yeah, I love it too. I feel like the great David Attenborough sometimes 😂 I always rescue plants if I can, as well, I think they deserve it after surviving some of the overgrown gardens I deal with 😁 Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate it. Martin.
This one was wild! The before and after transformation is amazing 🎉
Oh, thank you 😊 I really appreciate it. I thought I'd bitten off too much with this garden, but it's starting to come along nicely. Just need some nice weather now 😅 Thanks again, Martin
Looks like the patio could use a good power wash. Great job! Thank you. ❤💙💚💛💜
You're not wrong 👍 😁 it's needs a good blast, even if it's just to clean out the joints before it gets re-pointed with sand and cement. Anything to stop the weeds growing through 🤣 Thanks for the comment 😊 Martin
If you were brave enough to tackle this garden, I’m in. I will look for future videos. I hope you return to this garden soon. Nice job. The hedge trimmer worked like magic. ❤😊
Thank you, that's very kind of you. It was a lot of fun. But next time, I'll remember my gloves without holes in them 🤣 Thanks for watching, I'm quite new to filming my work, but hopefully, they'll keep getting better. I do quite a few jobs like this one, so keep an eye out for them. Thanks again ☺️ Martin
George, our favorite guy from Quick Cuts in Tasmania, calls them the 'dreaded blackberry bushes'. Great job--I wouldn't begin to know where to start!
Haha, honestly, I didn't know where to start either 😂 you'll probably notice I was darting around a little. And I've been doing this for over 25 years 😂 Dreaded Blackberry bushes is a pretty good description 😁 I only like them for one month of the year. I've seen one or two of George's videos, seems like a cracking bloke. Very hard worker. And he works in Tasmania, I've considered emigrating there a few times over the years! 😅 Thanks for the comment. Martin.
This is the hardest I've ever seen one guy do on this type of channel!!!! What a horrible mess with all those stickers!!!! I'm subscribing and giving you a like! Good on you from the US!!!
Greetings from Nottingham 😊 and thank you so much for the lovely comment. It's really appreciated ❤️ and thank you for watching.
That was quite an undertaking! Great job! Can't wait for part 2.
Oregon mulching blade would be perfect here . Fair play it would be easy to get overwhelmed with this one
Indeed 👍 unfortunately I'd forgot the hex wrench to swap the strimmer head over to the blade! 😂 so I improvised with the hedge cutter.
I'm a new subscriber. Love what you have done here. I'm sure the mom will appreciate your hard work. Excited for part 2.
Hello, thanks for subscribing. Much appreciated. 😊 Part 2 is now delayed until next weekend unfortunately. I've been back already to continue, but there's still quite a lot going on. I've got to somehow find a path through the back gate 🤣 it'll be fun. Thanks again Martin
I have learned from you that clipping up the cuttings to go into the recycling bags really helps me get more into the bag. Thanks for that!
I would have cried when I saw what was behind that back garden gate. Yikes, what a mess. You made great inroads in one day and that little patio was a lovely discovery. I can’t imagine why that was left for a new tenant to deal with, but I’m surely glad you were able to help her out with this cleanup. 🥇🥇🥇
Thanks Debbie, there are some paddocks beyond the brambles. I'll try and add a shot to the next part when I go back. It looks lovely, or would when all the brambles are gone 😅 Probably would have been a lovely little garden in its day. I found bird houses, bug hotels and some lovely plants. I shall try to get it back to what it once was ✌️ Thanks again Martin
Your strategies were awesome! You did everything right for a great looking result! I hope to see video of more work on this property and the reaction of the new resident. Watching in the state of Michigan near Detroit in USA
Hello Michigan, greetings from Nottingham. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and thanks for the comment. I'll definitely be filming part 2 at some point this autumn. Thanks again for watching All the best Martin.
You would think the owner would have had the property tided up before anyone moved in. These are my favourite videos. The bigger the job, the better
I'm glad you enjoyed it 👍😊 so did I, for the most part! 😂
What a magnificent job! Can hardly wait to see 'round 2'! You certainly are a hard worker😊
Thank you ❤️ 😊 very kind of you to say. There's going to be a part 4, 5 and 6 on this garden if I'm not careful 🤣 It's turned into the never-ending garden job 😁 always something to do in such a small garden.
Transformed is the perfect word. Wow.
This is going to be a total gut job....clean the whole thing out and start over??? The slate patio and brick sure needs a pressure washer cleaning from that mold and moss especially with a small child. WOW you made it through some of the jungle and did a FANTASTIC JOB. The home owner will be happy for sure. God Bless you and your gifts. Great video.
Excellent suggestions, I'm sure these things will be done. Especially pressure washing and pointing up the patio again to stop weeds growing through the slabs. Anything that can be done without her needing to spend much money as I think funds are a bit tight. I'll definitely make some more time available to help her out. Check out part 2 😅 even more fun. Thanks for your lovely comment. ☺️ All the best Martin
Wow that was a hard job but you did it, and what a difference looks great. You’ve made the lady very happy well done ❤❤Wiltshire
Hey Wiltshire, I hope the weather is better down there than up here 😁 It's a good start, but still quite a bit to do. Those brambles are going to need pulling up. But thanks again so much for the lovely comment. 🤗
Nicely done!!❤❤
Thank you 😊 🙏
Мартіне, дуже вдячна вам що ви таки взялися за цю надскладну роботу і виконали її надзвичайно добре! Я була вражена!!! Чекаю продовження.....
Thank you ☺️❤️ Much appreciated 🙏
Fantastic job! Very hard work but it looks great. I just hope the house has been kept up better than the yard.
Oh yeah, I think the inside had been done to a point. Looking through the window, I could see a new kitchen and floor being fitted. It should look quite nice when it's all finished 😊 Although the inside couldn't have been any worse than the outside 😂 it'd have been condemned 😅
Hard work , you've done well
Much appreciated 🙏 ☺️
Cool little garden.
I really hope this lady keeps on top of her garden she has got a wonderful start ❤❤❤😊😊
Me to, I'll be back to make it sound for her to keep up to a good standard. I'd like to clear the gate out properly so it can be used to get to the fields behind 🤞
That is wonderful news. Her baby will be running around before she knows it, and having a back garden to play in and access to the fields for walks will be lovely im sure
This was inspirational. Clearing up my own garden for Spring suddenly seemed much more achievable. Thank you.
Hey, thank you. I'm glad I could help 😊 it feels amazing to get a little bit of order and tidynes in the garden 😅 Best of luck with yours 👍 Thank you Martin
Ok, no worries. It's martinthegardenguy@gmail.com 👍
Awesome Awesome 👏
Thank you 😊 kind of you to say so. I really appreciate it 🙏
New subscriber here, what a lovely job you are doing, can’t wait to see part two next.
Hello, and thank you 😊 Part 2 is already out 👍 part 3 on the other hand is still waiting to get done 😅 its been quite a big job 😂 Hope you enjoy. And thanks again Martin.
The Lady really does need help. You are so kind. Great job. Thanks. God bless
Haha, yeah she did indeed. I cant complain though, I do love my job. Even when I'm not getting paid 😁 you should see part 2 🤯 Thank you for the lovely comment, truly appreciated. Martin.
I would like to see the finished product . It looks great what you have cleared, but the new Mom will still need more help with this garden(?)
Indeed, she will. You're right. There is still a lot to do. I'll be going back next week to finish off 😁 hopefully I'll upload the finished result by Friday night. But I'm still coming up with a plan 🤣 I'm glad you liked the video. I much appreciate the comment 🙏 Martin
Awesome work - can’t wait to see the finish 😊
Thank you 😊 hope you made it to the end 🤞 it was a fun little clearance. Albeit a spikey one, with all the brambles and wild roses 🤣 bad day to get a hole in my thick gloves.
Consider wearing eye protection on your eyes! Great job!
I agree 😂 I used to be flawless with my eye protection. But since running backward and forwards to the camera on the tripod. I forget to put them back on. My new-year resolution, to stop doing this 😂
Wow. What a nightmare 😮 You did a fantastic job bringing back to a usable place❤
Wow, thank you 😊 🙏 It's definitely a start anyway, a wee bit more to do. But I have grand plans 😁 Thank ls again Martin
That back garden is one solid hedge. Lol
Haha, yeah it was. I big spikey hedge at that 🤣😅
Great job Martin👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Oh, thank you 😊 you are most kind ❤️
What an amazing job you did here. The young lady should be real pleased.
Oh, thank you 😊 she was happy, although still a heck of a lot left to do. Ther eis definitely going to be a part 2 🤣 Thanks again Martin
I’m really glad you clarified that it wasn’t actually finished. Great job so far! 👍🏻😁
Haha, yeah, this garden felt like the never-ending job. Strictly speaking, it's still not finished even now 😅 Thanks for the comment 👍
Awesome job keep up the good work and bless you for helping this woman out!
Thank you, that's really appreciated 😊 Martin.
Lovely job looks nice 😊😊😊
Thank you 😊 🙏
I really like that you do one section at a time! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼❤️
Thanks 😊 I don't even know I'm doing it sometimes. I just like mixing it up and varying the job I'm doing. Instead of doing all the strimming first. I'd probably get bored 🤣 Thanks for the comment, I hope you enjoyed the video. Martin.
You might want to add an Oregon mulching blade to your arsenal for the brambles like that. Great job. Thanks for the video.
Excellent point my friend, I'd got the blade in the van but unfortunately I didn't take the hex wrench with me so couldn't swap it over. So I had to improvise 😂lesson learned. Glad you still liked the video 👍 Thanks Martin.
Waiting for far back and part two.strip everything back to fence and bricks. Bramble will have to be dug out anyways.
Yeah, that's the plan 👍 also going to have to figure a way to stop them coming through the back fence where the gate is. It'll be fun 🤣 hopefully will be done before next weekend 🤞 Thanks for the comment. Much appreciated. Martin.
I don't think there is a right or wrong way - it's true that necessity is the mother of invention. As always, you did a brilliant job of clearing it out. Now the woman won't have to be afraid of snakes & creepy crawlies in the yard & can enjoy it instead.
Cheers 👍 I must admit, I never really worry about what tool I'm using as much as the task I'm trying to do. Speed isn't always my only goal, in fact, sometimes it is at the bottom of my list 😅 I love gardening, and also not rushing it too much. To me, It beats sitting in front of the TV 😂
Great start …… there’s definitely potential for a beautiful place to relax and have your morning coffee ! 👍🏽🏋🏽♂️💗💗💗
I certainly hope someone enjoys it. It took enough work! 😂 Can you see how this garden would have once looked? I bet it was beautiful in its heyday 😊😍 Thanks for the comment 👍 Really appreciate it. Martin.
What a mess you walked into!! Oh for shame!! That would have been terribly depressing for the new mother. Thank you🌹
Oh yes, it's was about as full of brambles as could even fit into the garden 😅 they were the nice thick ones with large thorns, too! Ouch. Thank you for the comment, I really appreciate it. It's turned out to be quite a fun job. And it's not even finished yet, we're having quite a lots of rain so it's delayed me finishing. All the best Martin
New here! Like what I see! Looking forward to progress on this one…😊👏🦋🌈🌿
Oh hi, thanks for subscribing. Glad you enjoyed the video ☺️ I've actually already done a second visit to this garden, but I still have more to do. There are so many hidden parts to this garden, so hopefully part two will be ready by next weekend 🤞 Thanks again. Martin
At last a man that understands you have to dig out bramble roots! 👏👏👏👏👏
I dug most out, but not all 😅 I have plans to deal with the rest of them 👍
Buen trabajo felicidades ojalá poder ver la terminación de esta casa para poder apreciar su belleza 😍 💕
Gosh yes still all that undergrowth and trees your wright still lots of work
Hi, yeah indeed a lot left to do. I've already been back and will still have to make another visit 🤣 it's going to be the never ending job 😆 Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed the video. Part 2 will be along.....
Wow! Excellent job. Well done!
Thank you so much. Kind comments like this never get boring 😊 So, very much appreciated. Martin.
Great job--that little mower is a beast!
Haha, thanks 😊 poor little thing didn't enjoy it, though. I had to sharpen the blade after this 🤣 Next time, I'll rake up first.
Fantastic job.
Thank you ☺️ 👍
One thing about you. YOU ARE NOT A QUITTER ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Again, with the lovely comments, any more, and I'll start to blush 😁 thank you kindly.
What an incredible job you have done
Oh, thank you 😊 I appreciate it. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks again Martin
What a great job you did and what a relief for a new mum to be moving into a tidy garden instead of the wilderness that was! You’re a good egg Martin, the world needs more like you 👍💕 have liked and subscribed 😊
Thank you so much, I certainly try to be a good egg 😁 I mostly succeed. I'm glad you like the content. I hope only to improve and entertain more 🙏 So thank you very much for the kind compliment. Martin.
Take you all week to finish, I hope she loves it
Brilliant job thanks for helping ❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
Oowww, thank you so much. You're always very kind ☺️
Hi Martin I'm from Ireland by the way is the young lady renting the house from a landlord if she is then he should have done something about it. You are a decent guy.
Hi, my dad has just got back from his holidays in Ireland 😁 I gather the weather for the most part has been as wet as in Nottingham....but still quite warm. She has bought the house as far as I know, but with a new baby (as I know all too well) things get very busy so the garden never got done. And the house was on the market for a while also.
I cannot believe you did all that in one day. Awesome.
The big clearance was the easy bit really 😅 there is no finesse in bulldozing the over grown bit. But it's is enjoyable 😁 Took me two more days just to do the rest of the bramble removal and sort the trees out as well as the corner climbers (aka The Cave Of Wonders) 😉 Next time is day 4!
Fantastic job ❤
Thanks very much, much appreciate. 👍
well that was amazing. great job, great video!
Thanks so much, its truly appreciated 🙏 I hope part 2 of this job will be as entertaining 😄
Great video felt like I was there watching the beautiful work you do. Bonnie from Seattle,Washington
Hello Seattle 👋 nice to hear from you. Greetings from Nottingham. Thanks for the lovely comment. Part 2 will put all the finishing touches on and make it beautiful again....Hopefully 😅 Martin.
Great job 👍
Thank you 😊
Huge Kudos to you, that was a lot of hard work 👌
Thank you 😊 yes it was, and very spikey 😂 but a great deal of fun also. Thanks for the comment. Martin.
Wow what a lovely big transformation sir.. 👏 see in your next video..😊
Oh great 👍 I'm glad you enjoyed it. There should be plenty more on the way this season 😁🤞 Thank you for watching All the best Martin.
You need a good quality heavy duty brush cutter fitted with an oregon mulching blade. It will go through those brambles like a hot knife through butter.
Haha, yeah, this one was quite a while ago. I do actually have a blade for the brush cutter but I hadn't remembered my hex wrench to swap over from the strimmer head. So I improvised 👍Although it worked out ok, there were actually loads of tree branches and thick saplings growing within the thicket. Over 2 inch thick 😂 so the brush cutter would have been limited anyway. I actually really liked using the old hedge cutter, worked a treat 👍
Love this - brilliant job can't wait to see it finished 🌿☘️🌱 am in Whitby 🇬🇧
Hello to the lovely Whitby. It's one of my favorite spots to holiday (or get away) in the UK ❤️☺️ Thank you so much for the compliment. Always appreciated. Martin.
Awesome job. I kow how hard some of those jobs are, especially clearing brambles! Look forward to more vids 🙂
Thanks so much, yeah brambles are a pain. I only like them for one month of the year 🤣 Thanks again for the comment Much appreciated Martin
Awesome clean up! Would love to see the finish! ❤
Thanks very much. I've been back to do more work, but it's still not finished. Part two won't be ready till next week now😆 I found some sort of crazy living cave structure 🤔 Thanks again for the comment, much appreciated. Martin.
very good
Looking forward to seeing when you get done a slow go with the briers👍
Hopefully will be getting it sorted this week 👍 shold uploaded by Friday evening if all goes well....although the weather is being a pain at the moment. Thanks for the comment, much appreciated. 😊
You need to get the tools that Ben From Flawless Cleaning uses on Brambles. Great transformation though.
Haha, yes, indeed. A brushcutter would have helped. I actually have two of them, but unfortunately, I didn't bring them on this job. So I improvised 😁 It was far more fun. Thanks for the comment 👍 Martin
Looks great.
Cheers 👍 much appreciated ☺️
Excellent job done waiting for the next video of complete transformation...❤
Thanks so much, lovely of you to say. Fingers crossed part 2 will be ready by Friday 😊 🤞 day 2 was even worse than day one 🤣 Thanks again Martin
You really should have gotten some help with this one but good on ya for grafting fair dues
Bravo, good work! Rudi.
Much appreciated, Rudi 👍😊
Look! This is my 1st time watching u on youtube nd I gotta say u do b doing a great job at cutting nd trimming as well as removing ur clippings. GOD BLESS U YOUNG MAN nd keep on helping others as u might someday need to b helped urself.❤❤❤❤. BTW I am watching u from OHIO here in the USA.
Greetings Ohio, great to hear from you. Thanks for the awesome comment, very much appreciated. 😊 Hope you enjoy the next videos as well. Thanks for watching. All the best Martin
I like your method Sir,clean as you go 👍
Thank you 😅 hopefully you managed to see the finished result. I still have bad dreams about this garden 😂 Thanks again Martin
Brambles look as thou they've been there for a good few years.
Indeed, many, many years 😅 and so far its take me two and a half days to get it back into some resemblance of a garden 😂 Thanks for the comment All the best Martin.
Great job
Cheers, much appreciated 👍 🙏
Imagine adding pressure washing to the patio stones.
Yeah, I totally agree 👍 😁 They'll need to be re layed first, though. Some of them were very wobbly. Thanks Martin
Nice
Thank you 😊 🙏
Over across the pond have twice as much work with chopping all the greenery. Just sucks too see that extra work on your end. God bless and awesome job. Beautiful.
Thank you 😊 🙏 very kind of you to say. I really appreciate it. Martin
You are a good person
Why, thank you. Although I'm decidedly average in reality 😂 But thank you anyway, much appreciated.
Good job 👍
Cheers, I very much appreciate your comment. Hope you enjoyed the video. All the best Martin
🌿🌷🌿 Brambles!!! Such a pain. The berry brambles could/would take over here in northwest Washington state, if we let them get out of control. This patio looks great . New subscriber. Best wishes. 🌿🌷🌿
Haha, yeah they are a pain 😂 Although I love blackberries, so I will have to live with them. Over here, they seem to be less of a problem in gardens, but out in woodland areas they certainly need some control. Thanks for the comment, very much appreciated. And a super big hello to you, from Nottinghamshire. Martin.
This is like kudzu here in our area. It can take a place. You really had a mess to clean up today! 😮
Oh wow, I've just had to google Kudzu. Looks love a real nightmare 😅 Although it's one saving grace, it's not covered in razor-sharp thorns! 😂 Thanks for watching ❤️ 😊 Martin.
In the first place the sellers or real estate people should have cleaned up that place. I wouldn’t have accepted anything that looked like this. I know the lady must be anxious to move, especially with a new baby. That patio and other pavement would really benefit from a good power washing! I’m looking forward to the next segment of this clean up. Thanks for sharing and God bless!
Oh hi, thanks for the comment 😊 Unfortunately the previous resident had passed away, and apparently, the garden had already been "let go" before this. In the UK, estate agents don't have anything to do with the condition of a property. They just simply sell the place, and there is still lots of competition to buy properties. I've already done a second visit and third planned for this week, so 🤞 it'll be done 😁 part 2 should be ready by the weekend. Wow, it's been a tough one though 🤣 Thanks again Martin
Does that mean the new Mum will get to keep the pots? A couple of them with new mix in and some silverbeet seeds, swiss chard to you maybe, would give fresh greens for the wee one.
@catherinefromchristchurchn6508 I think that's a great idea 👍 I love the way you think ☺️ My kids still love running outside to get strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. from our garden. I will definitely suggest this to her and give her a hand setting up. Chard is a brilliant plant for them to start with 👍❤️
