NF’s voice when singing is really great he’s a pure talent!
I really want him to actually SING on a track soon, because you can here his "real" singing voice on flame ft. NF start over, and on beautiful addiction. HE IS SO TALENTED, i wish he didn't hold back his full singing on tracks like this because it would open so many doors.
The emotion in his voice is what really gets us.
I feel like his voice works so well for us because its therapeutic. I honestly think that was his goal for it, hes got the hard hitting lyrics in the verses and then the hook hits and being as his voice is so soothing it allows everything he just said to breathe and sink in for a moment.

Meeting another NF fan in public is always cool, had a customer at work today come in with an NF hat and hoodie and I came up to him to make sure he was good and we ended up talking about NF for like 5 minutes. There's a small connection to everyone when you follow him.

I read this in the comment section of the song,but just wanted to bring it back here.This is like a sequel to only.He was worried that he was alone in his feelings,and now he has realized that he's not alone,and is reassuring others that they're not alone. Also,I love how he says "There's millions of US just like YOU", like,he doesn't separate himself from anyone else. I don't know if I made myself understood lol. Ok I just want to say something about you. When I started listening to rap, my brain had a hard time hearing what was being said because of the beats. Then you showed up on my feed. You are so connected to music, you hear the nuances that some of us miss. You bring our attention to the strings coming in (I paused you in a moment you did just that) I think in Story yesterday you picked up on the tinnitus sound (I think it was in Story) anyways this is what makes you such a great go to reaction channel. Those are just a couple reasons, so I’ll be done tooting your horn. But seriously thank you, I love Rap, like I couldn’t before. Don’t get me wrong Em, NWA, Linkin Park, etc... was on my radar and I liked them. It’s just a new Rap game now. This is my favorite hands down!!!! I'm a huge psych mental health nerd, though, so.... Love the other ones too, but the meaning in this makes me like it more. :) What is so incredibly powerful about this song is he challenges the irrational thinking that makes depression and anxiety so defeating. It's really hard to convince someone who feels everything is pointless that there really is a point, especially when it's coming from someone who doesn't understand. The fact that we know NF understands because he's been there, but he is challenging the false thinking, makes it very powerful. The song is so perfectly done. So perfect.

Am I crazy for thinking that that is connected in some way?
I think STORY is more connected than we all think.
Why abbreviate “Main Character,” and then explain what the abbreviation means in parentheses? Not only is that not shorter to type out, it’s actually longer than just typing out “Main Character.”
@@PtylerBeats I dunno, it was pretty late when I wrote this. I'm european and he pretty much posts stuff pretty late for me anyway, so I guess I wasn't thinking straight lol. I remember reading my comment again before posting it and then thinking "Wait, maybe some people won't know that mc can also mean main character", because rappers are also called MCs and I don't know, man. Maybe if I had read it a third time I would've also noticed that it's pretty much counterproductive lol.

I feel this is the most "replayable" track on the mixtape. It has a hook you want to sing and a great swing to it. Even though other tracks are technically superior, this is probably the most "radio-play" track on album. Great review, Ernest!

Love it how u wanted other but when u got this it brings out the best (in my opinion about your thoughts and breakdown of the way you connect to NF and/with us.) I relate to you as we followed the journey pretty much together and yeah some say the search was dark but I like to think glass 3/4 full. For example I never went thru what happened in “how could you leave us” but to me I take that track as pouring out “raw emotion” and every one of us has raw emotion we need to release so I appreciate him doing what he did for that and I can relate to it bc of that.
