Alex Pereira didnt only set records by knocking out Sean and tko victory over Adasanya but helped train Sean. Sharpened his weapons and gave him the game plan to nullify Izzy's attacks. Sean deserved it even if its short lived he possibly sent Izzy into retirement after that dismantling.
I am fan of izzy (fights not his personal life😅) and i agree 100% its really hard for me to see a way for izzy after that insane fight by sean as a fan of martial arts it was kinda beautiful actually he was sharp and focused like never before
I hope Sean continues training with Alex and Glover as it will only strengthen an already solid skillset. Sean has Money Mayweather defense and counters as it is, so if Alex can sprinkle world-class kickboxing knowledge in the mix, Sean will possibly be the champ for the foreseeable future. Since Alex moved up, Izzy undoubtedly had the best standup in the MW division, and Sean made him look amateur. I can't see Rob or Costa beating him, I've not watched many of DDP's fights (I'm honestly unsure if he's more standup or grappling, all I've heard is he's unorthodox on the feet). Sadly, the only one who presents a threat is Khamzat, but he's shown an obvious weakness in cardio in round 3. Sean has Diaz-like stamina where he gets better in later rounds.
