Lake Norman is a really nice park. My wife and then 3 year old were the first people to stay in that little cabin beside the handicap cabin right after they built them, and have stayed in the tent areas. Those are my favorite bike trails since you can cruise and enjoy the scenery, they're not super technical. Nice video!

(35.3121612, -82.7989411) FS 475b Canton NC. You aren’t allowed to park where I did. They’ve blocked it off with boulders. Have to park along road edge and use a ground tent where I was parked. Road is also gated, not sure when they close it.

Is paying to use a shopping cart a common thing in NC?

😆 it’s an Aldi thing. Everything’s very diy there. You get your quarter back when you return the cart and chain it up though

name of the campsites/locations please? I just concluded a week of camping across the state starting out in kitty hawk - cape hatteras - linville falls. looking for nother locations. that first site had really great looking amenities that would come in handy when traveling/exploring with my 6yr old son. thanks for the info. cheers
