इस टीम में सूर्या, हार्दिक, जायसवाल,सिराज की फार्म संतोषजनक भी नहीं है। साथ ही एक स्पिनर कम करके संदीप शर्मा,/हर्षित राणा/नटराजन/खलील अहमद को मौका देकर टीम संतुलित हो सकती थी। पावर प्ले और आखिरी 5 ओवर में तेज़ गेंदबाज की बहुत जरूरत होती है। सिलेक्टर्स ने अंतिम 4 में भी नहीं पहुंचनेवाली बम्बई+गुजराती टीम चुनी है
