This song showed that Diana's high register has grown to be just as amazing as her low one now. Th training throughout the last years has really paid off. In earlier times I got shivers from her lower registers but now I get them from her higher ones, too.

I am absolutely in the tank for Diana Ankudinova! That said, I think this is a great companion piece to “Wicked Game” in many ways, and it is one of my top two or three of her nine performances on this show. My absolute favorite is “Oh, it was not yet evening “ (which might be considered a companion to “Rechenka “).

They know she can sing low but... shes been practicing 😉 All the other judge competitors have done their performances and are older and probably feeling content or confident . 😉 Then out comes Diana... This is a devastating performance. Diana is merciless in her vocal attacks here. She demonstrated many of her vocal talents. Her unique voice is mighty and penetrating. Thank you for the reaction.

She took a ballad and turned it into a dramatic aria of obsession spiraling into madness. At least that was my interpretation. People are going to recommend other performances by Diana on this same show. I'll go the road less traveled and recommend another great Russian singer named Pelageya. My two favorites are "Under the Green Willow" and "Canção do Mar".

At the age of three in the middle of Russia's far northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly. A massage therapist who visited the orphanage trying to help kids, was the first to recognize something special in this little girl, and eventually adopted her. Hello Adam and thank you for your fine reaction. This was the first song of a new TV show in russia. There are 9 weeks with 9 shows and 9 well knows artists. Diana is the youngest artist. They had to sing songs from 9 genres. The last TV show was on 20. november. The 9 artists are also the judges for the other singer. And Diana (18) won this competition. She shocked the other singers with the first song. The Crow is her masterpiece in this competition, in my opinion. « Mama I am dancing » is an upbeat performance. «Personal Jesus» was a showstopper. « Crow » was epic, « Not yet evening » was mesmerizing, « Twist in my sobriety » was seductive and sensual, « Road » gives the notion of fatality. In « The little prince » she was a little girl again. She is an intergalactic singer and an outstanding performer. She could easily win Hollywood if given an opportunity!
