I love how SM has stopped putting tons of make up on Lucas. They allowed him to show off his real skin color which is a touch of tan. He is not even dark at all his skin looks like a healthy color with a bit of a tan glow. He has a beach body and a natural sun glow. I remember when he first debut they put so much make up on him just like how they always put tons of make up on all their kpop idols with tons of white powder foundations. They all look like white faces with a tan body. I hope SM can make them all look more natural. Most of them don't even need make up. Lucas doesn't need make up. The more natural the better for Lucas. Lucas looked the most gorgeous in China running man cause he has almost no make up on.

Another thing to consider too is how difficult it is to come by darker shades of makeup in Korea-- of course whitewashing is an issue but I think the overall struggle of getting ahold of darker foundations plays a huge part. This is changing though, and I think it helps to have a darker-skinned Korean ambassador for a major makeup/skincare brand (Kai for Bobbi Brown!!!)

If this is one of his typical days you can see how hard he and other idols work. It looks exhausting and WayV is one of the lucky ones (lesser known idols only wished they had so much work). From morning til night they have non-stop dance practice, photoshoots, visits to the stylist, more photoshoots. Their lives look glamorous to fans but you can see that in reality it's backbreaking hard work day after day. I mean Xiaojun lowkey looked pissed to have to smile for the camera.

I love how SM has stopped putting tons of make up on Lucas. They allowed him to show off his real skin color which is a touch of tan. He is not even dark at all his skin looks like a healthy color with a bit of a tan glow. He has a beach body and a natural sun glow. I remember when he first debut they put so much make up on him just like how they always put tons of make up on all their kpop idols with tons of white powder foundations. They all look like white faces with a tan body. I hope SM can make them all look more natural. Most of them don't even need make up. Lucas doesn't need make up. The more natural the better for Lucas. Lucas looked the most gorgeous in China running man cause he has almost no make up on.

@@jflawless1375 Agree I love his natural eye color but I don't think they make him wear contacts lol I'm pretty sure whether or not he wears colored contacts is his choice.
Another thing to consider too is how difficult it is to come by darker shades of makeup in Korea-- of course whitewashing is an issue but I think the overall struggle of getting ahold of darker foundations plays a huge part. This is changing though, and I think it helps to have a darker-skinned Korean ambassador for a major makeup/skincare brand (Kai for Bobbi Brown!!!)

As I am having a WayV video marathon, I have noticed that Lucas is actually a softie when he speaks alone, it's really cute; compared to the times when he is super hyper. If this is one of his typical days you can see how hard he and other idols work. It looks exhausting and WayV is one of the lucky ones (lesser known idols only wished they had so much work). From morning til night they have non-stop dance practice, photoshoots, visits to the stylist, more photoshoots. Their lives look glamorous to fans but you can see that in reality it's backbreaking hard work day after day. I mean Xiaojun lowkey looked pissed to have to smile for the camera.
