  • Each batch has fresh ground Uyghurs in it (hence the blood orange color). The Uyghurs add protein for good nutrition so King Kong can grow ever larger. 1:24:30

  • An interesting mix of robotics and manual handling, walking beam furnaces. If this company went fully automated, imagine that most of these people would lose their jobs as these jobs are mostly low skilled.

  • It was obvious that these factories weren't China because they obviously don't pay their workers much; Hence it is far more labor-intensive that elsewhere. To handle the part between each process is extremely inefficient. Human hands shouldn't touch the part except to perform final assembly or QA. I love the use of gloves to fine-tune the machine. Low-tech but it's cheap and it works... That's what matters in the end.

    • It has come to the management's attention that some workers are dying on the job and failing to fall down, thus becoming indistinguishable from the still living employees. Henceforth, it is required of dying employees that they must fall down.

    • 有可能是自己淘宝买的那种劳保鞋，有很多这种运动鞋款的，鞋底和鞋头都有钢板，外边看起来与运动鞋无异。有的工厂一年只发一双劳保鞋，需要自己买双更换着穿这样子。
