So funny story when I played this game with my sister and my dad I got an exploding kitten. I had a defuse card and placed it on top of the deck. My sister played a skip card, I played a nope card and my dad played a nope card on my nope card and I told him "If you really want to get blown up so badly be my guest" my dad being confident that it wasn't an exploding kitten drew the card and it was an exploding kitten.

My group at my lunch table has been playing this exact game for almost 3 years. We play it everyday and lunch doesn’t feel the same without it. So far we’ve made 2 new cards; the Ultra Nope and Surveillance System. Since we use the pack with the Catomic Bomb we made the Ultra Nope to nope it. No other card in the deck is allowed to do this. The Surveillance System forces another player to flip all of their cards around to show them. Another rule that’s been used countless times is if you have 1 of each cat card (zombie, feral, taco, rainbow ralphing, and beard) you can steal one card from the discard pile. This leads to multiple people’s decks being seen at the same time. We love this game and it’s the game I have spent the most time playing it with my friends than any other game ever. Props to you Exploding Kittens!

Hey this is just a suggestion but as another expansion pack you could make deploding kittens or time bomb kittens or something and the new kitten would be if you were to get a deploding kitten you keep it but if you get an imploding kitten or exploding kitten you would give to a player of your choice it would also come with another defuse card and some new types of cards

Theoretically, there's no limit to how long a nope chain can go. There are, however, only five nope cards in the game.

With me and my friends do a thing called kitten roulette were you can't place any card you can only draw once. After you draw an exploding kitten you can now place cards. Also you can nope a nope cancelling the nope and leaving the card in affect. Also you can place three of, for example three taco cats and ask for a defuse of a favor card.

Unfortunately the rules left an important part of the rules open to interpretation which is if you use a defuse and stop the exploding kitten do you still have to discard all of your cards? I wish they had explained that in the rules because I've seen it played both ways but prefer not discarding my hand if I play the defuse. I really wish the developers had specified this in the rules.

@@lunaticz0r Thank you., it makes sense to me that using your defuse would spare you from all the consequences of drawing an exploding kitten. A friend of mine thinks it's more fun to make people still discard your hand after using a defuse but I don't agree, I think it just makes the game go unnecessarily faster than it should.

how to win: keep going back and forth with the person next to you with the rever- i mean nope card. all your cards are gone and since you have no more cards, you can walk away from the deck of random exploding kittens, tacocats, and future seeing cards and continue on with your regular life. there is one glitch with this hack though. the players that die will haunt you and make you have nightmares of exploding kittens, so you'll eventually explode to thoughts of exploding kittens. i don't rlly recommend this glitch tho.

My funniest moment in exploding kittens was when I was playing with my mum and she played the card favor I was playing with the streaking kittens expansion and I got the streaking kitten which means I could hold 1 exploding kitten without blowing up then I gave her the exploding kittens and she exploded as about 10 seconds ago I stole her defuse.

One thing is missing in this video... Mr. Bunny has to put the exploding kitten card on the discard pile. But there's no mention of the two cards he had in his hand when he drew the exploding kitten card. So are those two cards removed from the game, or do they also go on the discarded pile? The reason I'm asking is because with the imploding kittens expansion set, it's possible to get killed with a dismantle card in your hand. If that card goes to the discarded pile, the rest of the players can grab it when they have 5 different cards. But if the cards of that player are removed from the game, his dismantle card also becomes unavailable. Does anyone know how the developers of the game intended this?

Nope The entire point of the defuse card is that it's the only thing that can save you from an Exploding Kitten, a card that has all the benefits of an Nope card and being able to defuse exploding kittens on top of all that would make the defuse cards objectively inferior.

Hey this is just a suggestion but as another expansion pack you could make deploding kittens or time bomb kittens or something and the new kitten would be if you were to get a deploding kitten you keep it but if you get an imploding kitten or exploding kitten you would give to a player of your choice it would also come with another defuse card and some new types of cards

If i play an attack card, the next player should pick 2 cards immediately in the start of their turn or do they need to first play the cards they want to and then end their turn by picking 2 cards?

Can you use a nope to prevent someone from using a diffuse card? I used it and won but I'm not sure if that was legal thinking back on it.

Question: if i have 3 cat cards and I ask someone for their defuse, they play nope card. I also play nope card( and will have it). My question is ,are they allowed to play second nope card to override my nope card (and so on)? Thanks!
Theoretically, there's no limit to how long a nope chain can go. There are, however, only five nope cards in the game.

Now to play, Why is this in my recommended?
With me and my friends do a thing called kitten roulette were you can't place any card you can only draw once. After you draw an exploding kitten you can now place cards. Also you can nope a nope cancelling the nope and leaving the card in affect. Also you can place three of, for example three taco cats and ask for a defuse of a favor card.
Sounds like fun.

Unfortunately the rules left an important part of the rules open to interpretation which is if you use a defuse and stop the exploding kitten do you still have to discard all of your cards? I wish they had explained that in the rules because I've seen it played both ways but prefer not discarding my hand if I play the defuse. I really wish the developers had specified this in the rules.
No I don't think you discard it
it literally shows this in the video though (sorry late answer) at 0:55...the bear plays defuse and keeps his cards/hands.
@@lunaticz0r Thank you., it makes sense to me that using your defuse would spare you from all the consequences of drawing an exploding kitten. A friend of mine thinks it's more fun to make people still discard your hand after using a defuse but I don't agree, I think it just makes the game go unnecessarily faster than it should.
Ussualy this game takes about and hour to finish with 2 players for me. The games I play are REALLY COMPLEX but SUPER FUN
Hey is the expansion inploding kittens in dutch because i can only find it in English
how to win: keep going back and forth with the person next to you with the rever- i mean nope card. all your cards are gone and since you have no more cards, you can walk away from the deck of random exploding kittens, tacocats, and future seeing cards and continue on with your regular life. there is one glitch with this hack though. the players that die will haunt you and make you have nightmares of exploding kittens, so you'll eventually explode to thoughts of exploding kittens. i don't rlly recommend this glitch tho.
Does anyone know what you do if the last card in your hand is a skip card? Do you have to draw anyway...or have no cards and draw next turn?
AD if you only have one/no cards nothing special happens because by the end of your turn you must draw a card (unless u use a card that says otherwise)

If you can’t put the exploding kitten back in the pike if it explodes someone, there can only be 5 players in total. There are 6 diffuses so there can be 6 players
Get exploded,use a crossover and bring a uno reverse card,and the direction you show it,that player is like “Bitc-“ Or use no u and you're good

My funniest moment in exploding kittens was when I was playing with my mum and she played the card favor I was playing with the streaking kittens expansion and I got the streaking kitten which means I could hold 1 exploding kitten without blowing up then I gave her the exploding kittens and she exploded as about 10 seconds ago I stole her defuse.

One thing is missing in this video... Mr. Bunny has to put the exploding kitten card on the discard pile. But there's no mention of the two cards he had in his hand when he drew the exploding kitten card. So are those two cards removed from the game, or do they also go on the discarded pile? The reason I'm asking is because with the imploding kittens expansion set, it's possible to get killed with a dismantle card in your hand. If that card goes to the discarded pile, the rest of the players can grab it when they have 5 different cards. But if the cards of that player are removed from the game, his dismantle card also becomes unavailable. Does anyone know how the developers of the game intended this?
I think the defuse card is just wasted in that scenario

Nope The entire point of the defuse card is that it's the only thing that can save you from an Exploding Kitten, a card that has all the benefits of an Nope card and being able to defuse exploding kittens on top of all that would make the defuse cards objectively inferior.

It says in the video and the rules that after you defuse a Exploding Kitten, your turn is over. You do not need to draw a card when this action is taken to end your turn.
