  • I can feel the energy at this game on my phone. Reminds me of the 90s at MS Memorial back when JSU was sending dudes to the NFL. People were coming for both the band and the football team. I think we're back at that point

    • Yes they would come from every where. JSU won lots of games back in the 90' s I am still there fan of my home team. Go ahead JSU win many as you can, I'm very proud of y'all be careful and safe travels. Especially when y'all are at home now.

    • I hope so I remember being in the record setting crowd when Air McNair came and threw the ball all over veterans memorial stadium. It was so packed I had to sit on the steps.

  • I enjoyed my college experience but, the school and state I went to school in doesn’t have much of a college football culture. Seeing these huge stadiums and enthusiastic crowd really makes me wish that we did bc I know that attending a game, even as a football noob myself, would have been an unforgettable addition to my college experience. The band was amazing as well! I’ve been binging a lot of JSU marching band content and I love the way the HBCUs do it! It’s so much more fun and energetic than some of the bands from PWIs I’ve seen on yt. Hopefully I’m able to experience this in person one day!

    • @@JaKaili01 - I've been to every JSU game this season except for the FAMU game. There is no crowd noise unless there's a big play or a td, but let the band start clowning and dancing, the crowd goes nuts. And guess what else, if the band don't travel, JSU fans don't travel. Ask Coach Prime about the ULM crowd, he's got a video out complaining about fan support. It's not just JSU, SU is just as worst. For example, the SU game was "standing room only" during the half, with about 8 minutes left in the game, about 1/4 of the SU crowd had left the stadium. I accepted the fact back in the early 90's when I was in college, the SWAC schools are more invested in their bands than their football teams, but Prime is already starting to make change. Thank God for Coach Prime.
