Very rusry WW2 artifact from the battlefield restoration. I found this artifact with a metal detector. I dug it from a depth of 1 meter. It turned out to be a replacement barrel for the German MG34 machine gun. He lay inside for 82 years! The barrel and barrel were very rusty. I decided to preserve history and restore artifacts. I removed the rust and preserved the metal. I hope you liked my restoration.

  • That is real rust. Unlike half the resto vid on KZhead. GJ

    • He's super legit unlike some of them. The thing I hate worse and has cost some losing my subscription is altering the thumbnail image to make the rust look orange and then watch the video and it's barely rusted.

  • 'cyw' = Sächsische Gußstahlwerke Döhlen, A.G. You should have boiled the barrel in water, that would have converted the rust, and keep any original remaining bluing. Wirewheel bad.

  • Stop using chemicals and electrolisys to remove rust like this. BIOL the item in water and convert all that red oxide into BLACK oxide. stopped watching the instant you started to destroy the item

    • You're joking? You just don't know what you're talking about)

      @ReXtorer@ReXtorerАй бұрын
    • @@ReXtorerIt is called RUST BLUING, look it up. it is how the old times put bluing on guns. Black oxide is made by deliberately rusting a part, you can do this with a mixture of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide and ordinary table salt. You apply this lightly to a piece and watch it rust before your eyes. you then boil that piece in water and convert the red oxide to black oxide. You repeat this a number of times till the bluing is to your liking. It just does not work on modern stainless steel but it WOULD WORK on the item YOU DESTROYED.

      @markmanning2921@markmanning2921Ай бұрын
    • This is a replacement barrel up to mg 34. It is chemically blued, some models are not blued at all. The bluing process is the creation of a black oxide coating. There are different types of bluing. You read something, but you probably didn't fully understand it. Electrolysis is the best method of rust removal. This method does not affect the properties of the metal.
