Welcome back to a day in the life of an Airline Pilot!
In todays Special video I’m taking you on a flight from Frankfurt International Airport (EDDF - ICAO) to Mauritius international airport (FIMP - ICAO) in this video I tried to go a lot more into detail since this was an official PR(Public relations) flight of Discover Airlines. This gave me the opportunity to show you the walkaround as well as a lot more information from the cockpit. We departed Frankfurt Airport at around 4PM in an Airbus A330-300. We wear three pilots in the cockpit and 8 cabin managers. The video will take you a long on the entire flight starting from home!
What do Pilots do before each flight?
Where do Pilots do their briefings ?
What is the routing like ?
What is the departure in Frankfurt ?
What is the landing in Mauritius ?
And a lot of more stuff!
So sit back and enjoy this flight from the Germany to Mauritius!

  • Hi Pascal, great video I really enjoy the way you edit them, very entertaining! It would be great to see a video about "what I eat in a day" showing what meals and drinks you have before (at the airport) and during long flights. - I'm sure others will find it interesting as well. P.s. I've heard that pilots can't have the same meal?

  • What about the holidays? How many weeks do you have a year? Are you allowed to take holidays in July/August? Can you ask a week holiday and ask you off days before and after you holidays? Can you ask to fly to Miami and then have your holidays there and then start work again from there?

  • I know airline pilots and flight attendants. Get to skip the queues at Passport control, but are you still able to request a stamp in your passport? I feel like when I want to be a pilot part of me also wants to get stamps in my passport my uncle works for Deltaand he shows me on his flight to Frankfurt. They put the stamps on a piece of paper instead of your passport.
