  • I like how DC is finally starting to embrace their dark and moody side. Stop trying to be Marvel. This is the direction they need to take their other characters with. Excellent stuff.

    • Cinematography is fantastic. It’s so seven meets zodiac I love it. This has a graphic novel neo-noir vibe to it which is refreshing. Gotham looks incredible. You can tell it’s a city that is literally hell on earth. Like the James Bond series, every actor who’s played batman brought something different to the table. Yes even George clooney, he brought the bat nipples with him that counts lol! This iteration shows a batman who’s suffering from mental health issues but he uses his alter ego as catharsis, a way of dealing with his intense rage and pain. This depiction is batman at his youngest, a rookie vigilante. Something not quite seen before. Every version of batman had a certain maturity to it, this version seems abrasive but crude, unrefined but robust. It’s always great when they find new ways of replenishing the batman mythos for the current generation. This proves why he’s universally revered and one of pop culture’s most iconic figures. I can’t wait for this.

Funny, not that I'm hating on this version because Reeves is a great director and Pattinson is a fantastic talent, but how exactly is this Batman true to character when you havent seen it yet? Same thing with Affleck, who I think brought a good performance and take on Batman, despite the flaws with the DCEU.

  • When I first found out that Robert Pattinson was going to be Batman, I wasn't too excited about it. The trailers, however, have shown that he can do a really great job. Looking forward to this movie, and I hope the cast is at least comparable to Batman Begins, since that had the best cast out of any of the Batman movies I've ever seen.

    • I’m actually more excited to see Paul Dano’s version of the riddler. They are purposely hiding his face and direct conversations in both trailers for some reason that should be subtle but slightly disturbing since they are applying some zodiac to him, I got high hopes for this DC don’t screw it up. The only other thing DC has going for it for me is seeing Michael Keaton as Batman again in the flash….again DC don’t screw that up.

He intimidates, mutilates, cripples, electrocutes bad guys, all punishments worse than death... he is evil's worst nightmare, he is vengeance!
