  • I have adored Alan Cumming since seeing him in "Circle of Friends". He played such a fantastically sleazy, sinister guy. And the next movie I saw him in was "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion". What a phenomenal actor.

  • YES! I am a singer and went to a great rock and roll coach (Karen Sarring) because I had a sore throat from over-use and she taught me the same exact thing and I have never had an issue since. Long live rock and roll!! So awesome to hear that you learned this too!

    • i'm not a singing coach but it makes sense what he says. your tongue muscles are rooted to muscles that move the hyoid up and down as well as i guess the fascia that connects to the glottis? and pulling it out and moving the vocal cords (which is what you do when you sing) can maybe help relieve hoarseness.
