  • Maybe you chose that song, a background music, because you can't study at home because of family problems. Maybe you're trying to find anything, anything even that makes you feel at peace. I would like to tell you that you are very valuable! You can overcome this situation. This is not the end! This is your new beginning. You will win any situation. Don't let anything get in the way of your self-esteem. Jesus loves you so much!

When you're done, lay down, and get some rest, no matter the time. To everyone who is creating, you got this. Your art is amazing. Remain in your flow and get stuff done!

Whether you want to just go to sleep, or want something to accompany your studies, or want some background music, or you want to study them note for note with a score, this music is incomparable.

    • @@aquaposting723 i think they're trying to refute the stereotype that only pompous preppy rich people/kids enjoy solo piano pieces from virtuoso pianists. Music can be enjoyed by everyone as you previously mentioned but each genre carries a standardized tag that rubs off on the listeners. Same is with art, music, dancing etc. etc. Someone who likes neo-classical paintings and a kid with an anime profile picture on discord are thought to be complete opposites of one another.

  • I remember a kid at my high school who aimed to go to music school. He practiced a lot of Chopin on the piano in our school building, and his version of "Revolutionary" was one I couldn't forget. There was an unparalleled sense of strength and anguish he put into it. Any recordings of this piece felt too soft after hearing his playing. I don't know where he is and what he's doing right now, but I hope he is still working toward his dream.

    • About 25 years ago I was in law school, and studying for very hard final exams in the cafeteria. For some reason there was a piano in the cafeteria, that was never used. Well, while everyone was studying and getting extremely stressed out (there is a lot of pressure put on 1st year law students in the US to do well, because if you don't you get kicked out), suddenly this one long haired kid sits at this unused piano and starts playing this Revolutionary Etude, his hair all over the place, the music just resonating like thunder throughout the cafeteria. Everyone looks at him, and nods approvingly, the tense music so perfectly fitting this difficult time.

  • Why does Chopin hit so differently? I love classical music (Despite not being a profound genius) but there is something magical about Chopin. His melodies feel like a heartbeat. Perhaps that's why he appears so different from other great musicians like Beethoven who expressed the ego. Chopin expressed the heart.

  • To everyone who's studying with this music: Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧 • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋 • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧 • a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕ • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨ •Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈 Reminder: After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book. 📖 I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. Remember to take care of yourself and try to get some sleep tonight 😴🧸
