This is a very short and quick video for fixing a MacBook Pro M1 Pro or Max that refuses to charge via magsafe or USBc. Spoiler: You reboot your Mac. That's it. Why does it work? Well, there's a quick explanation at the end of this video.

    • bro i went to an apple authorized service provider and they gave me an estimation of 200-500 JOD which is around 300-700 USD to fix this issue, and i watched this video and my laptop charges again

  • Among a lot of other comments, here's another thanks from me. My Mac is out of warranty, and I thought I'd need to get the charging port repaired as I cross-checked the functioning of the cable and it was perfectly charging the other devices. but not mine.

  • Literally worked, I was pissed because I just went and bought a new charger thinking it was bad but all I had to do was restart the computer.

  • my mba m1 is new has zero charge cycles but it won't charge, it says battery needs service, i updated software but it still won't get past 1%

  • Mine is very crazy, I charged it in full and brought it with my backpack, it was heat inside but I did not noticed it unless I have something to do with it in the evening. Then, it does not running and won’t charging, can you help me please? I tried the force shutdown and restart but no way
