Every time I listen to one of your songs I can't help but wonder how many fiddle competitions Emily has won. In my 76 years on the earth listening to blue grass, I've never heard anyone I thought was better. I also think Matt has the best bass voice I have heard. Love your group.

When I wasn’t yet a teenager my neighbor in Las Vegas was a Disc jockey for a local radio station. He would give me records fro his station . One was Marty Robin’s and I played that album till I could sing every son on the record. Need to remember that western movies and TV shows were very popular. Especially in my town.that where

I was 10 or 11 years old when I first heard this song. 1960, I think. I was sitting at the counter of Sully and Joe Trujillo's Gold Post Restaurant with all the green Miles trucks parked in a line out front.... there on Scotts Valley Drive (Santa Cruz, Co, CA) before we had good ol' Hwy 17. Or, maybe they'd completed Hwy 17 and Scotts Valley Drive was just more familiar to me. I'm old, ya know! I don't remember 'zactly! 😃 Anway, the name of the song was Big Iron, by Marty Robbins and I still play it regularly today.... So imagine my surprise to hear someone sing it in a way I liked it just as much! Maybe even better! 😮
