Why do you guys have to be so dang multi-talented! I'm always impressed by Sam's music skills, cool to see Clint can play drums too.
Tyler Jones Sam’s Spotify is like the #2 reason I bought premium
hell yeah, jamming to it
Yeah Sam makes me feel like a loser. He is a cameraman, VFX editor, sound effect editor, director, producer, writer, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and runs a successful company.
_And_ he also dads on a regular basis.
I like Clints style! Lefty on a right handed kit!
0:25 "You have to finish 10 shots per day, every day, for the next two weeks. Let's say you're working 10-hour days, you have to take an hour or less per shot, every day for the next two weeks." ~ Wren I've never seen a man use *MATH* to break someone's spirit... until today.
MATH...MATH never changes
Math breaks thousands of spirits everyday.
DarkLight523 have you never had a math teacher before?
you've never bin to school have you?
math breaks me down every time i make my budget
Corridor and Corridor crew is the only channels in my feed that has me like OMG YES ANOTHER UPLOAD
Same.
ME TOO! My favorite channels!
True
Same for me bur node airsoft and nerf videos two
yeah I Node is also in list
Sam and Clint jamming at the end was amazing. Crazy talented people
its easy tho
Notice how Peter thought Wren wanted to fist bump. Look at the lower left corner at 1:47
lol, nice catch
Oof
That's fucked up😂😂
Ouch
Ow haha
i seriously can't wait for Peter's video.. it's gonna be the best fanmade spiderman video ever
Can't they get sued for it? Since they are drawing revenue off of someone else's IP? I'm all for the video just concerned for them.
isn't most of things drawing revenue of someones doing? recent uncharted fanfilm didn't cooperate with sony / naughty dog, twitch streamers steal from the game creator, sports talkshow off somebody's competition, gossip, etc.
Couldn't agree more!
so are the good to go? no problems?
Well, let's just leave that up to Jake and his lawyerin'
So like...why aren't more Peter clones being made to help him?
Neil is Alive the workload was too much that their molecular integrity totally deteriorates for every shot done. This stable clone of Peter in the video might be the last of his kind.
Neil is Alive wren had to pull the plug on their cloning system. Steve said it was using too much power
Honestly, because the clone arc is over.
It’s what we in the human printer industry call a peter jam, the clones look like Quasimodo
They all run off the same neuro-network from the cloud. The processing power is divided between clones, so more clones wouldn't necessarily mean more or better work.
Best episode in ages! Love seeing all this 100% pure production stuff. Extremely interesting to see all the trials and tribulations you guys go through, and the hard work it takes. Peter's CGI is looking sexy as hell too!
Spotted a wild Harry
Spotted a wild Harry
I believe in ya Peter. Its looking so good.
InanimateSum peter literally looks like Tom Holland’s long lost cousin And his name is Peter
4:15 to 4:25, Cmike coming toward the camera on merry-go-round was the most terrifying thing I have seen all day
It would be a great setpiece
4:19 John Lennon travels back in time to stop his own assassination
Top tier comment
This is comedy gold
I love this
I've been binging Corridor videos for the past few weeks, and two things have left me legitimately shooketh (as the kids say these days) - Clint in the green screen suit with Jake's face doing the Squarespace pitch (I cried laughing) and now effing CLINT CRUSHING AT THE DRUMS. With metric modulation and everything. Can't deal. Love you guys. Please can we collab. I'll clean your floors.
My personal and humble opinion is cobus is the best drummer in the world and I've been a massive fan of cobus since 2008 and a massive fan of corridor since 2010 so if you two collabed I think the universe would completely implode from sheer majesty
It's been a year but if Corridor sees this; I second Cobus and Joel G's comment. Cobus is an incredible drummer and being a fan of both, it would be killer to see a collab! A Drum off with cgi modified drum kits that have dragon head bass drums.... Just think of the possibilities!
I knew they played guitar and messed around with the hang drum, but watching Clint slap them skins and Sam tickle them keys(lame phrasing lol) really made me happy. Im glad they are actual musicians and not people who just have instruments around, just because.
@@armpit_farts7327 they make movies so even if they didn’t play themselves it’d make sense for them to have one there for whoever is doing sound design
those Spider man shots look great!
You guys are amazing.
Aww!
FliteTest What an unexpected channel to see here!
@@clonkex I know
As a 9 year VFX compositor, I cringed at 1:35 when he said "On the flip side, how cool would that be" if they finished 100+ shots within 15 days. I love being in this industry, but a couple things I cannot stand is poor planning that leads to artists slaving away at overtime to get a show delivered, and the glorifying of working those late hours as if they are a badge of honor. There is nothing glorious about taking time away from your friends and family to finish a show. I quit from finishing the season finale of Legion because of the hours they continuously kept asking us to work, which was required because the client could not decide what they wanted, and our studio over-promised what we could deliver. With that being said, you guys are superbly talented and obviously have passion for what you do, so hats off to you, I especially love the VFX artists watching bad/good cgi, I learn a lot of new things from watching those! Keep it up, but don't kill yourself with OT over it (Unless you just love doing OT then good for you!)
Stephen Holbrook wow you worked on Legion? How was that experience?
@@suan_pan one of the worst shows Ive ever worked on. Part of Legion's gimmick is being just a weird, bizarre psychedelic show, which would be fine except the client never locked down a concept for all the weird stuff, so they were kinda just making things up as they go, which required us to constantly work overtime because we kept going back to old shots to change things. Its very morally draining when youre working lots of hours but not being efficient about it and feeling like for every step forward, youre taking 3 steps back because things are constantly changing.
@@stephen12holbrook what other shows have you worked on?
@@stephen12holbrook I love Legion though I can imagine with the way the story is told and from what you mentioned it would be quite a challenging environment to work in. Thanks for sharing and all the best for your next gig - hopefully things get a lot better for you
Amen to that. I've been in the biz for 12 years and I avoid overtime like the plague. It was fun to rush at the start though, it was exciting. 150 shots in 2 weeks is impossible. I don't think he pulled it off, did he? You could light and comp 150 shots, but not animate them. Animation takes forever. The biggest blockbusters were the hardest on me, especially anything from Marvel. They make crazy changes two weeks before the deadline. They're insane.
I never actually realised how huge of a name Casey was in the composition world until I recognized his name on Nero's battle theme from DMC V and looked up his work. I always thought he was just a friend of yours that helped out with music and that was it
Also cliff starred on that theme song!
I mean, he IS just a friend that helps out with music... but he's also SUPER pro and does really legit work for others haha :P
My hero. *blush* haha
I had no idea any of these guys had any musical ability until watching this video, it honestly blows my mind how talented the entire Corridor crew is! I love and respect the fuck out of you guys, all the best.
3:55 Theres no time for caution
Sheeny_Weiney I understand that reference
good one

OH GOD THAT SCENE!!!4!
CMON TARS
Peter is the real MVP, no matter what happens, your work is epic.
"1 VFX Shot, per HOUR, per DAY, for the next 15 DAYS!!" - It's not possible! - No. It's necessary.
The video ended up great
no time for caution
@@jonathancorbett4839 where is the video
My boi! Using blender at 7:03! Ya!
I’m rooting for you peter! Also holy crap Sam is good at piano!
You guys are the shhhhh! I can´t stress that enough. I´m in the field of motion graphics, design, animation and VFX for the last 15 years of my life. Getting notification from you guys mean I´m gonna have fun in my day, and love my craft a little more! Thanks for that, and keep up the awesome work! We love you! :D
The is, without a doubt, the most impressive Corridor video I've probably ever seen. Peter pushing his limits, the group making a totally unique zoetrope video, and then them all showing off their other musical skill. Damn, guys. That's a lotta hats to wear.
Only donate pizzas with anchovies and pineapple, to teach Peter a lesson of time management.
Iskender Altan-Bonnet But pineapple is a good thing?
Thus, it will be a perfectly balanced diet.
I love this channel, you guys are a massive inspiration for me keep it up
I always get back to this video whenever I come across chasing a seemingly impossible deadline. Yeah, it's gonna be exhausting, but how rewarding would it be if I finish it on time. Thanks for inspiring us, Corridor Crew.
I hope you make it, Peter. The short looks super cool from what we've seen so far.
Rip Peter.
He should just use the other peters to get all the shots done
Joseph Mead aren't all those Peter's dead though? I don't think they were being fed or anything while Peter prime was away
That's what they WANT us to believe! #CMikeIsTheNicestDudeButHesDefinitelyHidingADarkSecret
Joseph Mead What?!
I really hope that peter succeeds his project!😀
Peter that film is lookin pretty fricken amazing dude. I feel equally excited for that film than on the Spider-Man homecoming. Good luck.
Your VFX do wonders, but seeing the video on Corridor and the behind the scenes make me realize how good your ideas are and how I love seeing you guys come up with smart, practical effects and overall solutions for everything and anything
I really love how you guys make your own music as well and how you guys know how to play its awesome.
4:19 C. Mike seems to not fully get what a 'g' is. a 'g' is 9.81 m/s^2 or the amount of speed you accelerate by in one second of freefall, on Earth. 4 'g's is around the point in which the average person will pass out. Please don't confuse "g" with "G", "G" is Newton's Gravitational Constant for the universe. I timed it out and the merry go round is rotating at 44 frames per rotation, or 41 rpm. If you plug this in for a 6 or 8ft merry-go-round, you get a "g" force of 1.72 "g"s for the 6ft one and 2.29 "g"s for the 8ft one. To actually get 4 "g"s, you would need to achieve 54.17 RPM on the 8ft and 62.55 RPM on the 6ft merry-go-round. If he wanted to feel 4 "g"s he would need to be spinning 32-50% faster. This wasn't made to say "Oh, he's dumb", this was more of a nerdy thing I wanted to do. I hope someone found this funny as I had a blast writing this!
I think he knows and was joking around? But cool to see you did the math I was wondering how many "g" it actually was.
They are even good at playing instuments. WTF These guys are insanely talented
Both Corridor channels are some of the most impressive channels on KZhead with regards to how much talent there is. Major props
I really love the segments with Peter and his crazy amount of work to do. What he is doing looks super great!
best part of the day is watching one of these corridor crew videos
Connor Landhauser Ikr, corridor is like the most high quality content group on youtube
So true!
Dude, Peter is the best!
looking forward to this channel! great work guys.
Every time I watch one of these videos I'm humbled by how multi-talented you all are. Nice work guys!
I would be shook if I was a little kid and I couldn’t go to the playground because they were filming that
And id be excited to see cool shit getting made.
Not if you were 6.
I have the most absolute utmost faith in Peter's ability to pull off this project and a bit more in time for his deadline
Let's be real though, it's not happening.
Dryued ha but it was
Not been watching you guys long but almost every video I'm surprised at how talented you guys are at pretty much everything. You guys are awesome keep it up
Music production and composition is what I do. Seeing these guys make the music for the video... I got chills.
“Mom, those weird adults took over the playground and I can’t play”
9:44 Can we have a Sam & Nahre Sol collaboration?
OMG I love that you guys are not only good in VFX but also in music :) Sick piano lick!!
Brilliant idea from a brilliant studio. Corridor always make the best content!
One man(drums)...on a mission(drums again)...To do a ton of vfx shots!(dramatic horn)
Clint's drum face is amazing
10:35 onwards is fascinating. What a great piece of music.
I tought that this whole short was actually stop motion. And the finished shots from the Spiederman video look amazing! I mean honestly amazing! It looks like a big budget production made by a whole studio. Can´t wait to see the final video! Good look Peter!
7:04 HE USES BLENDER!
If only there was a peter cloning machine lying around or something...
ah yes nothing like constant crunch until your vacation, truly a healthy work environment.
@@discordgarbage627 No it's his job. He has to meet his deadline so the video would still be released on schedule. You can love your work and if you do that's great but when you're working 10+ hour days (including all-nighters from what we say in the video) for 2 weeks because you need to finish a project before going on vacation that's not healthy, that's how you burn out. Production companies in all industries (and I know this first hand, it's my full-time career and I love what I do) plan vacations so that people can schedule workloads around them, this way employees aren't killing themselves & aren't being punished for trying to take time off. Remember this is a business and they are all employees, this might be his project and something he cares for but he must meet production deadlines so the business can maintain its balance sheets and clearly, in the scenario all the responsibility of meeting the deadline fell on his shoulders with zero assistance. If you can't recognize this situation for what it is then you're clearly lacking the maturity to analyze it & haven't worked in a professional industry remotely similar to this one.
So impressive, everything. The song at the end was dope. I've never used the word dope.
6:02 So how are those VFX shots going 42? :)
I know that in the end you'll produce an awesome fan film, but my question is: regarding copyright and intellectual property, are there any laws or policies you have to comply with?
The best CREW on the internet, amazingly talented each and everyone one ! I have massive respect for everyone in the CREW.
So extremely thankful for the videos you guys post. You inspire me deeply!
i wanna help peter so bad. but i can do vfx
What if Corridor crew was a show all along?
Ideas like Clint's are why I originally suscribed and have ultimately stayed with this (Corridor's) channel (not so much the game memes in video form). I like it when you guys so something new and inventive with the camera or your effects, like Wren's Mario Galaxy video and your old "Painter" video back in the day.
10:50 I really dig Clint's open approach to the drum set; he's got a good pocket.
Peter, just pop in some music, and have at it with VFX!!!!
Is it finished yet?
Dude Clint you read my mind! I was just thinking about your Smash Bros video a couple days ago and remembering how much more VFX was going on in that video than others at the time it came out. Love that video.
I just watched the video, it looks great. Also, I have now officially decided that Clint is my favorite person in the world. I was on the fence about it, but then I saw him playing drums so...
Editor routine technically
?
Not really
lol, he did it!
I have never rooted more about something on this channel then the Peter video. Keep going man!
Peter, those shots look amazing. You’re really talented. Keep it up!
Carmichael is a Viking John Lenon
Did he make it?
Damn that zoetrope thing looks like so much work! You guys deserve so many more subscribers
Love the scoring sequence. Had no idea you guys were just as musically talented. When do you guys go on tour!
Peter, I can help if you need.
The memer 🅱️eter
Following these guys for the past 7 years, they're seriously on another level with this
I am so pumped for the Spider-Man video. Keep up the great work 42!!
10:36 Sam: "Start with your clickity clacks." My Ears: Hmm... *a lil longer* Ooooo shiiiiiit!!!
I'm not hatting on MARVEL but, the work that Peter is doing looks kinda better than Homecoming. Wish you the best Peter!
No. I don't know why people always put comments like this. They always seem so silly.
I always have my gripes with movie CG. I know it has to be the way it is to match up and work at high resolution, but it does look smoother and blander than it has to, with especially movements that are a bit too smooth to feel real.
What do you think of Peter's Spider-man film so far?
The shots shown here actually look bloody marvellous, like absolute top notch work! The materials on real-world surfaces might be a tight bit off and a bit gamey looking, but it's better to wait and judge that until it's all edited and colour corrected, and doing better under an enormous time constraint that he's put himself under is pretty much impossible. Might even be an advantage, animated look = further out of the uncanny valley. Animation is impressive, very well flowing, fairly natural looking, whatever faults are there will be easily hidden by frantic camera work, i mean i can see that if i was watching it all the time in a loop, i would find more and more things that look out of place, but i think it's kind of good to stop overcorrecting these things and just let them be, will possibly make for a much better product as a result. If you look at Monty Oum's animations (RIP) like Dead Fantasy and yes don't look at materials and rendering, it was rendered on a 2004 dumpster laptop with the notoriously inefficient Poser, you will... you will not notice all the impossible foot or shin or arm rotations, or most other animation mistakes really, and that's the kind of work that would be considered entirely too sloppy and full of mistakes by professional standards of the industry, but damn if it doesn't just flow so well! I guess it'll take until i can see more footage to judge, but Peter's work doesn't look entirely too bad at all.
Agreed Siana. Getting that look on 140 shots though will be a nightmare by himself.
Always get hyped for a new vid!
8:03, this is a god of 3d animation, its amazing, he do it all alone, stunning job

Wow I loved the jam at the end !! I want to see more ! :D
I always enjoy the moment whenever Sam with a music instrument in this channel.
Didn't know clint was a monster drummer! Blew my mind. Those triplets before the end. And of course, Sam. Those keyboard licks. Amazing.
Im so hyped for the spiderman short, I cant wait.
wait i legit want the song at the end in full, not just for a video but as a standalone song that jam was awesome!
That Spider-Man shot with the balloons looked insane. Can’t wait to see the final product Peter!
These behind the scenes video's make you appreciate the original so much more. The amount of effort is unreal! respec.... (whamen)
That track was sick. You guys got some incredible musical talent there.
Sam is wickedly talented. That music was awesome. Reminds me of adventure game music from the 90's.
No matter what, this'll be the best spiderman short there is!!
this is a crazy effect. Can't wait to see the video! I am currently working on my miniature. but the scale is 1:82 so It's difficult to get the shot with focus and get the effect in camera.
the best part of watching corridor crew for years now, is seeing the evolution of Cmike, Pretty rad, close to his final form i bet.
Great drumming and synth playing
Peter's Short looks amazing, cant wait for the final version.
So much talent oozing from every pore in your body. My god corridor has such talented people.
