  • Geez!!... Coyotes have got to be one of the toughest little bastards on the planet! Started studying all these coyote vids after I recently put a shot on one. It was more of a surprise and react fast kinda scenario for me. So I think the shot hit a little high and possibly above the spine. Darn thing got flipped over in a barrel-role in the air... landed... laid on the ground flip-flopping from side to side for a number of seconds like it was going to expire.. then proceeded to rise back to his feet... then run away! Blood trailed him like 250-300yds into a Ravine... then saw evidence he may have climbed back out of the ravine, but couldn't find anymore blood to help me find him. To any other n00bs like myself who might happen to read this comment. If you make a hit on a coyote... if there is still ANY kind of movement in him.. HIT HIM AGAIN! Want to say thank you to Primos et al for supporting Randy's videos. Excellent learning resources for many of us who didn't come from a background of a hunting family, so thank you.

    • I had a similar problem with them regarding a tripod. Ultimately returned the item to the place I bought it from. I only have one arm and depend on my tools too limit predation. They lost me as a customer. Love Randy and the videos are useful.

  • What is the purpose of the black tape over a section of the scope?

    @kellyinterrante7745@kellyinterrante77456 жыл бұрын
    • I assume the tape was covering the brand name of the scope, and whatever brand the scope was wasn’t one of the officially sponsored brands of the video.

  • Question: What do people do with Coyotes they take where they observe they happen to have mange? As a n00b my initial plan is to hopefully get a pelt, and then harvest the meat and cook it to serve to my dogs as a supplement to their protein intake. Obviously I assume with any signs of Mange you wouldn't want to have anything to do with the pelt then.... but the meat should still be ok to Harvest as long as the Coyote didn't look too skinny/undernourished, right?

    @TheGDizzo@TheGDizzo6 жыл бұрын
    • Oh yuck please don't take the meat and never feed to your dogs. You could end up giving your dogs disease.

      @muffintop420@muffintop4203 жыл бұрын
    • You should eat the meat yourself.
