H2O - Just add water is about three teenage girls who can transform into mermaids.😮
After a night bath in a lake, everything is different and as soon as Cleo, Emma and Rikki come in contact with water, they transform and get a mermaid tail. After further experimentation, the girls also discover they have supernatural powers over water like boiling or freezing water. They try to keep their secret from everyone else which makes their everyday life anything but simple. 🧜♀️🌊

Cleo's acting improved so much throughout the seasons, i think season 3 is her highlight.
Watch The Secret Circle. Was the first tv show she was in after H2o. Much better acting and her American accent is pretty good. I had to fact check that she was actually born in Australia.

I'm 22 and I'm not going to judge myself for watching this at any age. I see this show as an art. Jonathan Shiff and the crew have been creating this masterpiece with such love and passion for that. And I'm really thankful for their sense of beauty and aesthetic. It needs a huge talent and imagination to film like that. Those tails, moon pool, Mako, underwater scenes, music, the mermaids theory and actually every screen view are aesthetically gorgeous.

A few things I loved about this set of episodes. 1: Bella doesn't even hesitate to jump in the water to help Rikki. 2: Lewis playing with slime like an 8 year old boy. Also, after it turns back to water and Lewis says "Do that again", Bella just looks and him and laughs like she completely understood. Bella has gotten some dislike in the comments, but I think she is probably my favorite character in the H2O series. She could have used a bit more character development (Bella and Will both felt kind of 2 dimensional to me) but I liked what I did see. Actually, speaking of character development, I wonder if they got new writers for the show in season 3 because Rikki, Zane, and Kim all felt off kilter in season 3 as well.
I love Bella she’s definitely the my favourite character and I love Indiana Evans she’s so pretty’

I watched the original with my best friend at the time. I was probably around 7 or 8 at the time and now I’m 18. This show is the literal definition of nostalgia for me.
I watched this from the first episode on Nickelodeon. I absolutely loved it! I still do and I'm 23. The graphics when they change and turn into water then a mermaid is awesome.

It's just not the same without Emma. Miss her so much. Also I don't like that they made that weird thing on moon pool. This seasons vibe is so different from previous two seasons. Also suddenly full moon doesn't affect them and it was always such a big deal.

They did mako mermaids on netflix with a merman, its by the same people who made h2o and pretty similar
Or even better one with. They're all grown up and have teenagers . who are also mermaids. 4girls and 1 boy all mermaids or merman. Three of the girls who are mermaids and the boy who is a merman. So it goes like this so they all went to mega island and the boy chases after them. They decide to go in the water and the boy saying he doesn't feel good about it. Ps. He is afraid of water.And he try to peruse his twin sister not to and he and she shubbs him in there then stuff start happening and he turns into a merman along with the other 3 girls. Then days later after figuring out this. They go there while his twin sister gets lost on the island and she stumbles across some weird pond and they find her in the water, they rescue her, she has no recollection of what happen but all she remembers is hearing a voice. So they eventually find out she has the power to turn them out of their mermaid form even when their in the water. And they practise and eventually get better controlling their powers

Okay I’ve watched this show since it came out my godmothers daughter was my best friend and we just watched it together whenever she babysat me. Now, as an adult, I still watch it. I take acting as an A-Level and I think Bella has a stellar performance in this.

Useless? In this episode we literally see her USE it to form a path across the stream. No one else can do that.

@@Daniel-ui3zy Emma could have created a path with her ice too. I agree that bella's power seems kinda useless, but I can think of a few applications. First off, like shown here, she can create a walkable path on water. She can also stop water in pipes, for exemple if there is water in a pipe that could potentially leak on her she can stop it. If someone is falling down from high above, she can change water into a mattress to catch them before they touch the ground. Emma couldn't do this, ice is too hard, Bella can create jelly cushion to protect people from falls or walls or else. If someone is trying to catch them underwater, she can transform water into jelly and stop that person. She can't stop a boat but she can slow it down. Those are just a few application I can think of, she can do think that Emma can but she is the only one who can create protective cushions and shock absorber mattresses
they wouldnt have destroyed the water tentacle if it weren't for her powers. i dont think her power is limited to jelly. she once hardened the mermaid statue they gifted rikki. my assumption is that she can arrange the molecules of water. by making the molecules very compact, it actually allows her to harden or solidify water (as seen in the mermaid statue and the rocks), and she can adjust the molecules so that it wont be super solid but jelly-like.

Season 3 is not a bad season and I don't hate it, but I really just do not enjoy it nearly as much as I do with seasons 1 and 2 with Emma. I'm glad then get along with Bella - but honestly, it's not the same without Emma, and I really dislike that they stopped wearing the lockets later in the season and wish that instead of the blue stones they wear as necklaces, they'd done bracelets or something to allow Cleo and Rikki to keep the lockets.
