Natural World: Return of the Tiger
Five years ago the tigers of Sariska Reserve, India, were completely wiped out by poachers. It was a huge setback in the war to save this treasured species from extinction - but now conservationists are fighting back. This beautiful film follows a female tiger and a hot-blooded male over 18 months as they try to establish their new territory, learn to hunt their prey and dodge the ever-present threat of poachers.
Welcome to BBC EARTH! The world is an amazing place full of stories, beauty and natural wonder. Here you'll find 50 years worth of astounding, entertaining, thought-provoking and educational natural history content. Dramatic, rare, and exclusive, nature doesn't get more exciting than this.

Reason being there's always food for herbivores, but for carnivores they have to successfully hunt otherwise they starve. How many times do you think a lion is successful in its hunts? So yeah, full support for carnivores.

  • Well I must say that there are too much animals in the jungle and They share watch out duties with each other and expose tiger's presence while in case of lions are none.. that's why they miss more often than catching.. Although in case of Amur tigers The success rate (38%) is quite good than lions (17%)..

      @AVyt28@AVyt285 жыл бұрын
    • Amur tigers live in less dense enviroment, their higher rate of success is essential for survival as their energy needs are higher thanks to their size and cold weather and there is much fewer opportunities to hunt.

They only eat once or twice per week, because of that. Cheetahs are the most successful (50-60% success). So, Please, donot get carried away by your emotions, guys!
