Thanks again for coming down to visit the shop Chris, it was a pleasure to finally meet you and talk puzzles and magic. And thanks for the great video tour of the shop!
That desk is amazing!! Nice work man, seriously! Wow. So cool.
Danny Dunwell 😂😂😂
Craig Thibodeau amazing work man!
Would you ever consider building an entire house into a puzzle with secret corridors and stuff?
SwiftyStickGamer that’d be insane
I'm surprised Chris didn't try to spin that desk.
😂
I thought that was MrPuzzle that did that as a first resort!
Psssh haha I just pictured that and it was upside down.
Lol
Or bang it on his table.
Would be cool if you would have your entire house done like that. You've got a week to figure out how to open the fridge in order to get food to survive. :)
Dries Creve you can survive 3 weeks without food
@@swordscar6278 technicalities mate...technicalities :) I store my drinks in the fridge as well ;)
What a great diet idea :D
Lmao
@Kodie Kulp dude, you have some breakdown?
Imagine this dude designing a house. Guest: so where's the bathroom? Owner: names 50 steps to get to bathroom
Just conjuring up the image of someone desperate to use the loo, frantically searching the bathroom for the means to lift the toilet lid, then once successful reaching for the loo roll to only find it locked in a perspex box.
I think I need to put my pants in the laundry after figuring that out but I guess that is another 50 steps.
custom puzzle boxes custom puzzle desks and I now present to you CUSTOM PUZZLE HOUSES
Have you played that game The Room?
@@TheDobstopper I played 1-3, I never finished 3 though I don't think.
how long before its full on national treasure type shit? puzzles that span across the whole country, then the whole globe.
That's what I thought. Probably take 25 years to build and 30 mil for an 1800 square ft house.
“Hun I’m gonna go ahead and head home thirty minutes early so I can open the garage door for ya..”
When Chris Ramsay goes to visit his future desk, but doesn't want the world to know it's his lol.
He lives in Canada not California
@jamesTBurke Not according to his website ctfinefurniture.com. Contact information is San Diego, California.
@@remlya thats the guy from video, right? :) Not Chris :)
Chris lives in Canada.
@@KerryRowberry specifically Quebec
Craig: **won't disclose who is getting it** Me: you mean to say we won't see Chris solve this? 😭
Ommgggg I need it
There is such a delicate balance between "very very challenging but satisfying" puzzles and "needlessly hard/confusing/impossible" puzzles. Designing puzzles while not overstepping that line is an art in and of itself. Craig and his team are incredible craftsmen and artists who understand that delicate balance better than anyone else in the world! Incredible!
I feel like this should be for Nicholas Cage, because of the presidents desk in National Treasure
Ready.Set. Cre8 Nick Cage is broke he would owe triple after purchasing this desk
The rooooom. I downloaded the 1st “the room” game shortly after it came out, and it is solely what has gotten me into things like puzzle boxes and escape rooms.
I know I'm 2 years late lol but I couldn't agree more!! I have played all of The Room games except the VR PS4 version.... Now I think I have played every game in the Google play store that is similar to it... Sad... I need more!!
I have time to build another one. Chris: Seriously considering how much everything he owns could be liquidated to afford it.
200 steps!! Oh man. I would love a desk like that. Keep priceless items inside that you pass down the desk to your kids and then down to there kids and so forth... really cool. Talk about craftsmanship. Could see it in your eyes Chris.....you’re getting him to make a desk for you right? You can’t help it...it’s going to happen lol
pass down.. don't you mean lost. the kids won't even know something was hidden inside
As a cabinetmaker and furniture maker in training, this dude is superman. His portfolio is absolutely amazing and a huge inspiration.
"I want my house to be like this" So THAT'S why there's so many puzzles in Resident Evil houses. It all makes sense now.
It’s for Nic Cage. Gotta be.
If it is then I hope he doesn't watch this channel.
Why you say that?
@@shable1436 National treasure 😆 the movies
Unless his financial situation has changed think he may have to stick to IKEA
Johnny Depp. Pirate ship...
300 years later on antiques roadshow: "300 years ago, a man named chris ramsey in the early 2000s was obsessed with puzzles..."
Pls try to rotate and slam it to open it:)
I can picture him trying to pick up the desk to wack it against his hand 😂
Well a Russian cosmonaut used a similar approach to get something to work in the movie Armageddon.
Chris: "I want my house to be like this" > random stranger "can I visit you?" Chris: "sure, GL finding and opening the front door, you dont need a key"
It's pretty awesome to see how you were acting while in this amazing puzzle building shop. I felt like I was watching a kid at Walt Disney World for the first time you can honestly tell that you are in love with puzzles and magic in general. I am so glad you are one of the most prolific if not the best puzzle solver or reviewer on KZhead cuz you are so darn entertaining and you're such a nice guy.
“I want my house to done like this.” I immediately thought of 13 Ghosts. 😆
As a fan of The Room and Davinci games this looks absolutely amazing!
I need this is my life yesterday. I've seen this guy's channel before and I would dedicate a room to such a large cabinet; amazing craftsmanship.
Got my V3 playing cards in the post yesterday and omg I LOVE THEM!! Absolutely beautiful design and soooo smooth to use. Will keep for collectors obviously because it’s precious so I thank you so much for these Chris! ❤️
As a long time woodworker, that Puzzle Desk is totally freaking insane & off the charts amazing! Thanks for the tour Chris & I also can't wait to see it when he gets it done. To bad that we won't get to see how to solve the Puzzle part of it...............
This makes me remember all the time that I have played “the room” the four game of the series, that was amazing and this is even more amazing
Craig, that puzzle bureau is awesome, I used to make single puzzle miniature in the guise of pagodas and I made my son's bed with a few hidden compartments and crawl ways. I look at your work and you are levels ahead. I am a Mechanical Engineer in the power transmission sector. We make large and small gearboxes and pumps as well as precision gears, so I can really appreciate your mechanisms. Chris, we all love your work and your dedication to entertain us, hopefully one day you'll get the chance to solve the beautiful desk puzzle.
Level of craftsmanship is unreal. Next desk piece should be a roll top of some kind.
This is the coolest warehouse ever! Can you imagine having furniture that’s tricked out like this throughout a person’s home? No burglar would find anything
Its wood just get a hammer
You're right, they will only find all of this expensive mastercraft furniture
I am absolutely in awe of this. i am lost for words. wow. thanks Chris for sharing this to KZhead.
Meantime I'm working on the 2nd strap of Velcro on my tennis shoes....lol
Wow! I cant wait to see the final completed puzzle table! Really looks AMAZING!
Love the dedication of this puzzle furniture builder, thanks for showing it to us Chris :D!
The desk is pretty amazing now as is, can’t wait to see it when it’s finished, it’s going to be magnificent....
Wowowowow really enjoyed this video, thanks for sharing Chris
Oh my... this is BEAUTIFUL. Man talk about craftsmanship. In my dream house this desk would have the perfect spot. Owning this desk =Life goals 🙌🏻😍🤩🤩
"I want my house like this." There you go Chris, that is how you will top it. A puzzle house.
-Hey where's the bathroom? -Well about that... you better get working.
Your brain is fried for eternity
the question is how do you get inside?
@@anonymoustissue Spin it, obviously.
I like how Chris brings up "The Room" within the first 3 minutes and that's where my head went when i was the intro. Amazing game/series played each multiple times and its awesome to see that someone is bringing something similar to what you would find in the game to reality, even if the designer hasn't played.
Duude, this is crazy! I couldn't help but to smile almost through the entire video just thinking about how cool it is and how amazing it will be when it's finished. Really awesome job from them
You better get yourself a desk like this to solve this is truly a magnificent masterpiece! I am bad at puzzles but I love watching you solve them and this one, even if it would be a video of 2+ hours, is something I would watch entirely.
I've definitely been binging on too many of these videos if I'm here this early LMAO
Made it a couple minutes in, spent 99 cents on "The Room"
OMG I LOVE THE ROOM! I have all four games, solved but I replay them. I got all the alternate endings too. I love puzzle boxes. The desk in the seance scene is a joy, also the other one in the dollhouse.
INCREDIBLE!!! Love your appreciation of the work and quality. Just so cool all of it and everyone in the video :) .
This is awesome!!! Exactly what I've been waiting for!
Love it, i think this was a great move on your part chris. We all want to see this shit. Ive been watching you for about 6 months and im hooked. Keep it the Magik
Cool to see how they made
Absolutely incredible. Love everything about this.
The Room is awesome. I was thinking this reminded me of a desk that was in the game too.
That's amazeing bro... Appreciate the content and visiting where it all starts...
Now this is a master woodmaker engineer this guy is a brilliant and talent on so many levels ....
This is literally mesmerizing. The quality is astronomical. I cannot look away
I love that desk I would love it even without the puzzles. Beautiful!
I started turning pens and bowls on a wood lathe, back in April. I like watching you solve puzzles, but I really like this behind the scenes video. I hope to see you do more like this.
I've just been getting into woodworking and I'm totally getting Craig's book!
Awesome video. Craig Thibodeau is so humble.
Amazing craftsmanship!!
That is some SERIOUSLY GOOD workmanship. Brilliant stuff guys
I'd be fascinated to know who commissioned this piece.. They are going to love it.. Stunning work Craig!!!!
As I've been watching your puzzle videos I pass this one often (dk why I haven't watched it yet) and always think it's a piano. Amazing beautiful piece!
OMG I love the puzzle series "The Room". Best money I've ever spent on an app!!!
To come up with complex puzzles like this this dude is absolutely brilliant. That desk is going to be awesome.
"Maybe he'll invite me over one day?" "Oh he's ---JUMPCUT---" Said something he shouldn't, I see!
Yeah thought that too
HE USED KING CRIMSON!
Aaaahhhh, you’ve already discovered the game “The Room.” 💜 Being a fan of that, and I chanced upon your channel, my wish came true! I was wishing I could see stuff like in The Room, in real life! :)
Holy cow, that will be a spectacular puzzle. Thank you for sharing 🌞🌞🌞
Yessss this is amazing !
Wow! So much detail!!!!! Wow!!!
Merry Christmas Chris. Have a good one. 👍😁
The Room series and The House of Da Vinci series are the best games I’ve ever played honestly
Man I've been telling my dad to do something like this for years, he builds cedar strip boats and furniture.
The actual attention to detail here is just other worldly... currently eyeing up my dad's ships captain's desk and seeing if I can make it into a puzzle desk. 😄
I'm blown away, this is beyond stunning craftsmanship and precision. Even the upper floor hand railings are furniture quality - 0:51
Chris I would love to see a video of you trying to solve this puzzle!
This is just an unbelievable piece. Thanks for the video.
I just started playing the room and da Vinci and this puzzle reminded me so much of that sort of stuff.
I like this puzzle very much... I also like my "1st" cards which were delivered this morning, now safely locked in my puzzle box... Greeting from the UK @Chris Ramsey
That guy in grey hates the camera lmao i laughed when he tried to move away
Thanks for this video Chris ! I’m one of those who want to make woodworking my magic world 😊 (I am also happy to see that you can nail the art of woodworking AND keep all your fingers)
Thank you for the early X-mas gift, taking us to see Craig's workshop was Awesome! #PuzzleSolving4theSoul
Stuff like this is just cool and priceless. I wish I got into wood working. Where I made more than just a wooden lamp in elementary woodshop class, or the gun rack in highschool. Absolutely cool puzzles here man.
Thank you for showing us this artist
Can't wait to see that finished 😫😍
You have to solve this! This looks amazing
Wow these guys are the nuts. I love cabinet making and adding hidden draws but these guys take it to the stratosphere.🤯👍👍👍😂
Great craftsmanship wow.
Beautiful work.
Sherlock Holmes just ordered that puzzle it'll be done in less than a week when he gets it 😂
this thing looks outstanding even without beeing a puzzle. Awesome work.
That's a nice desk Someone's is gonna ask that guy if he has a pen he'll be like wait I have 44 more moves to open this drawer
Can’t wait to see the desk showcased.
So cool. Great work
It always makes me happy to hear people reference The Room
This is the first thing I thought of when I saw this. Those games were brilliantly crafted as well.
What? So this desk is for Tommy Wiseau! Lol 😉
"The Room" Game series has to be the best game known. Worth to buy it if you get a chance!
mousey451 it’s no Oblivion, but it’s pretty good.
INCREDIBLE!!!!!!! I have never seen a puzzle desk, but it's INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!
Would love to see the progress on this!
C'mon! Wow. Remarkable work! I have got to have one of these. But in Armoire style desk.
Totally an amazing piece of art. I wish I was good with puzzles...then again I wish I could even afford them. Those seem very expensive but well worth the money im sure.
Chris, found your channel recently. Liked and subscribed. I noticed in one video you were at Pilot Coffee Roasters (one of the coffees I drink often served at a shop near me in San Diego). Then I noticed in this video you had a James Coffee shirt from San Diego (another shop I frequent). If you're ever in the area again let me know and I'll show you some other great coffee we have here!
Omg I love The Room 3 which is one of my favorite puzzle games I played years ago
My new favorite channel!
