  • Great video as always. I personally think for people which wash their car themselves, you should have CarPro Reset, CarPro Lift CarPro Descale, a post wash detailer like Gyeon ceramic detailer and Optimum NoRinse. Maybe you can add something to clean the interior of your car like Gyeon interior detailer and CarPro Pearl (tyre plus interior dresser). Always use high quality microfibers that are dedicated for a specific task and be gentle on your cars paint work.

  • CarPro SIC 2 coats. Wash regularly with Reset, Usually rewash again with HydroFoam. I’ve read to not apply reload to the coating due to it already being slick. Could I use elixir as another topper after paint is dry?

    • Now that your CQUARTZ SiC is fully cured, you could use Reload if you wanted or Elixir, or Hydrofoam as you do currently. Personally I prefer to stick with Hydrofoam but you are perfectly fine to try Elixir or Reload and see how you like. Lots of people like to top with them. Elixir is probably the best option to use with Hydrofoam on there. -Corey

  • What do you recommend as a drying aid on a vehicle coated with SiC? I know Reload is not recommended for the first months but are other products safe to use? I’m looking more for lubrication while drying than I am for boosting hydrophobic, since SiC is already great in that area

  • Question: what about road salt on Cquartz? I live in Wisconsin so winters are brutal. No free flowing water outside, except for pressure wand at car washes. And that can be spotty when temps are below zero. Any ideas?

    @kimnewling5728@kimnewling5728 Жыл бұрын
    • Hi Kim, great question! I would recommend topping with CARPRO Hydrofoam before winter starts as it will help with road salt and then very important is to keep getting that road salt off as soon as possible. Using Descale during your cleaning process after winter or during washes through winter can help too.

    @gusbiesecker8677@gusbiesecker8677 Жыл бұрын
    • Hi Gus, that's perfect! Well... that is where you have a lot of options. Reload, Elixir, Hydrofoam, Essence PLUS... You do NOT need more than one of them but the tough part is which is best for you. You can read a lot about each on our website www.carpro-us.com but my favorite (because I like to save time) is just using Hydrofoam every few months after a Reset wash.

  • I put UK 3.0 on the windshield of my car, what should I use now to clean the windshield? Is Invisible Glass safe for the UK 3.0 ceramic coat?

    @ErrorMargin@ErrorMargin Жыл бұрын
    • Hi Tod, you actually should not need anything other than to wash it with Reset just like the rest of the exterior! If you want to, then Invisible glass should not harm it but no need to use.

    • It's best to apply a coating all at one point for the best bond. We would recommend waiting until the coating that is already on the surface runs through its life. Then start the reapplication process.

  • Hey Corey... how would you rate the Carpro Microfiber Wash mitt , between Gyeon Smoothie wash mitt and the Carpro which one do you suggest, I have a softish dark paint on my car prone to swirling. I am not getting the Microfiber Madness Delimitt here....

    @mshiladitya86@mshiladitya8611 ай бұрын
    • Hi, thanks for the question! (Edit - just notice your comment about soft paint too) If your paint is REALLY soft and you not getting the Delimitt then get the CARPRO Merino. With regards to the Microfiber Mitts - honestly if your looking that route I cannot image why you wouldn't get the Incredimitt from Microfiber Madness (as its the innovator, original, actually made in Germany and higher quality than all others but if you can't get it where your at or for whatever reason then I would go with the CARPRO mitt over the smoothie. I just have no interest in products that are made to look like imitations of a true innovation. That may sound a little harsh and I mean no disrespect to anyone that loves it. To each their own. But those are my honest feelings on such a thing... If a company makes a product that is so far beyond the rest of the products on the market that others have to try to imitate it then the least they can do is not imitate the colors or pretend it is the same mitt when they launch said imitation. I hope that helps!

    • @@mshiladitya86 Yes sir, you are right that the merino is a bit more work to maintain (just give it a light brush with a dog brush after each time it dries) but I trust nothing more than merino if it swirls really easy! • How to remove water spots from ceramic coatings. I have uk cquartz on my vehicle and i have some water spots that's not being removed. I regular do maintenance washes but still ended up getting some water spots. I've used spotless 2.0. It removed some but not all. What's the safest way to get them removed with out affecting the integrity of the coating?? Help 🙏🏻 please

    @aaronprudhomme8688@aaronprudhomme868811 ай бұрын
    • Hi Aaron, if minerals are left too long on the surface it will eventually not be able to be removed without polishing in which case you of course have to re-coat the areas polished. So, that is the LAST resort.... Try Spotless (as you already did) Next step is to try descale, if that doesn't work then Essence PLUS and if none of this works then a light polish and eraser and re-coat if it is worth that step to achieve the goals wanted.
