  • Seems like a cool guy Royler. Much more down to earth and relaxed than Rickson and aware and proud of his heritage without overdoing it like some of the Gracies.

    @errcoche@errcoche9 жыл бұрын
    • I think Royler may have been too young back then. It would've made the UFC (and the Gracies) look really bad if they threw a kid in there to fight. It was bad enough in the early days of the UFC's with people saying it was barbaric - if they saw a kid fight in there, those people would've just have had more ammunition.

      @killersalmon4359@killersalmon43597 жыл бұрын
  • Its like Royler trolled you here. Taught you how to make cantaloupe juice for 20 minutes then showed you ( a black belt) the first day of a 1994 bjj class lesson....my god.

    @Seegie16@Seegie167 жыл бұрын
    • How is any of that trolling? The Gracies ALWAYS focus on showing the Gracie diet and Gracie self defense moves.

    • Eat Fruits, juice veggies. Veggie juice has more fiber than you need, if you don't strain it.

      @34672rr@34672rr6 жыл бұрын
    • The Gracies eat actual fruits and veggies too. They don’t just consume them via juice. Juice gives you a higher concentration of vitamins and minerals, but eating them whole adds fiber like you said. They do both.

      @jims512@jims5125 жыл бұрын
  • same question when i watched metamoris preview, why he always use a juicer and filter all the good fibers from fruit.

  • IMO BJJ has lost it's way as a self defensive discipline. Most schools and instructors now focused purely on sport Jiu Jitsu and completely ignore self defense.

    @TheLastFraudster@TheLastFraudster9 жыл бұрын
    • Very true...sport BJJ does not directly translate to MMA. Because you can't do fancy guards in MMA because if you do...you get punched in the face or as soon as they get into trouble they pull guard LOL. I've seen that a few times in MMA and it's sad.

      @JadedAllDay@JadedAllDay9 жыл бұрын
    • It's not just MMA it doesn't translate to it's basic street self defense it doesn't translate to as well. When I did BJJ last yr I asked my instructor (who is a purple belt) what to do in several self defense situations and he point blank didn't have an answer. Let's be honest people primarily do martial arts for self defense right? I know I do.

  • Not to be negative, but as warning, there is nothing special about Acai. Has the same nutrients as any other berry, and is difficult to find fresh. I fell for the snake oil for years because of the hype, until I actually did the research. Goji Berry is far healthier. They are dried, but one dired berry has the antioxidants of a tomato

  • drinking a liter + of fruit juice in the morning is a terrible thing to do for your liver as its loaded with sugar of course Royler and many people think the sugar from fruit is ok but the table sugar is not well guess what it's even worse in he fruit as it contains even more fructose and Royler laughing about not throwing away fibers from the fruit shows how little does he know about healthy diets.. people tend to think if im in great shape means im doing everything right, unfortunately it doesnt work that way, our body is great at making up for the hit we do to it, healthy habits means you will be healthy until you grow old

    • They have their own diet for about 100 years. It is true what you are saying, but besides that they live very healthy lifstyle and from what I know people in their family live long, their father and uncle lived 90+ years and they used same diet. They do sports, don't smoke, don't drink, don't eat too much, no snacks between meals. If the whole world would follow these few things it would be already almost perfect.
