Lol i started oct 2019 as like you and I am sub 30, i know full pll and 12 oll algorithms, You solved the cube in 23 seconds using only 2 look oll and 2 look pll, nice job, I hope you learn full pll and oll one day!
Yeah, I solved the cube in 23 second on the video (was a good scramble). I think I will start learning Full PLL first because I only need to memorize 21 algorithms instead of 57.

Nice. I’ve played around with a ton of different lubes in my 356 XS. So far, what I like the best is SCS Controlius on the core and Lunar on the tracks and pieces. Right now I’m using the dark blue hex nut on 2 and 3rd click from the loosest setting. Magnets are medium.
Very Nice! Currently I have my settings on 3 clicks from loosest and hex nut setting 3 with strong magnets (I found that the (4, 2) setting I previously had was much to tight). I used weight 6 (usually use weight 5) for the center pieces and Martian for the tracks and outer areas.
CubeCuber I’ve been trying different setups lately, so I might try yours. I have weight 5 on my center springs/core and lunar on the tracks/pieces. All the other settings are the same as what I listed above. The puzzle is fairly fast after a few warm up solves. Lately I’ve been averaging 28-29 with a Pb of 19.
I have my gan XS on setting 1 with 2 clicks and strong magnets. Found all others way too loose. Using silk and dnm form pieces. Feels really fast! Got my Pb of 7.11 with it today😊
Alex R-M , I think the lube plays a huge factor. I thought on hex nut 1 and a few clicks with strong magnets the puzzle felt slow. Granted I am way slower then you, as I’m only sub 30 right now.
@@MacsStang I would say hex nut 2 is nice with strong spring compresion but I have fell in love with the stability of 1 and having a looser spring compression allows for some flex.
For my setup I have 1. Strongest magnetic setting 2. 4 drops solar in the internal tracks 3. 2 drops cosmos/controlius 4. 3 clicks on 1

Instead of adding weight 6 to my core pieces i just added one drop of martian each. Made it feel smoother and faster to me

@cuber it didnt feel right. I couldnt go a day before i had to clean the whole cube out and re-lube it. Weight 6 to the core and Martian to the pieces is the power play

I use SCS Martian for the tracks and outer areas and weight 5 or 6 for the core and core contact points. Also, SCS Lunar could be traded for Martian. 👍

How that logo gets faded away so fast for a lot of youtubers :D I got my gan x like 4 months already and the logo is still as new :D How many solves you do per day? Because I do around 200 solves a day and the logo seems as new
Eugeniu Curcudel That is definitely true, the cube now has basically no logo. I’ve been busy lately, so maybe on average 75 solves a day. But also, I usually do big sessions of solves like 200-300 solves.

No, from my experience it is actually quite strong. Although, it does make to cube more flexible (which could be a good or bad thing depending on the person you ask)

The setup is pretty fast and loose. I think weight 3 would work fine, just maybe adjust the tensions and net settings to compensate for the thinner lube.

Since the cube is fully plastic is it water proof? I’m rlly curious.
Yes, technically the cube is waterproof, but you wouldn't want to put water on it due to the fact that it might destabilize the cube's balance and wash away or delude the lubricant. 👍
