  • Damn. Barefoot and all. I attempted to cut a tire off a rim once. Well hospital visit not soon into cutting. Lost about 2 1/2 pints of blood because of it. Knife slipped and went strait into vein behind calf muscle. Even after I went to hospital and got wrapped up,when I came home I accidentally put pressure on my toes,and that caused the vien to stretch and lost another pint or so of blood before I could get back to hospital. My bandage was Snow White then turned blood red in about 2 seconds. I applaud these guys

      @Manwhowatchesyoutube@Manwhowatchesyoutube14 күн бұрын
    • Because at this point in time the labor to resharpen the tool will cost a contractor way more than buying new blades.

      @sergeyy8846@sergeyy884613 күн бұрын
    • @@sergeyy8846 with the right equipment and training it should take no more than 20 minutes to sharpen a tool- so long as you don’t need to re-profile the blade. If the blade is trashed then there’s no point. The scraper blades I use on my oscillating tool are $15 a piece, they’ll hit a brick here and there, 45 seconds with a little sandpaper on the bevel and it’s better than new. Keeping your tools sharp and well-maintained is a lost art in the trades.

  • I did something like this the other week. My partner and her family wanted to make a turtle out of 2 tyres. I had to cut 1 tyre into 4 strips, then screw them onto the whole tyre as legs. We used a Rugby Ball as the head. I just used a sharp knife for the walls, but had to use an angle grinder for the steel belted tread. Big mistake. Burnt rubber over everything. Destroyed a good hoodie. Melted rubber in the bottom of my feet, in the shower & bed. The project looks good but has stalled. It's supposed to go on her grandma's grave, but her family had to leave, so it's on pause.
