In the first several dozen historical games I played as Germany throughout my time playing HOI4, Italy would always try to take Scotland, wakes, northern England, Canada, India, Australia, and Norway, for whatever reason.
it was funny how in the DLC version, Germany finally lost the war, then immediately tried to invade around Poland again. It's like the Allies turned around and Germany immediately went around for a second go at it.

And again, Germany nearly defeats the Soviets, and falls only because the Allies occupy all of it after D-Day. It's non-historical
They need to make Soviet victory hinge on trucks. Like in real life.
Soviet Union in histoical should be able to 1v1 Germany at least. They are never able to every single game.
@@Alpffine of course they are. In reality the Soviets would have starved to death without allied supplies. In the game i easily manage to defeat the germans on my own, without any support on any but the highest difficulty (also it would be completely gamebreaking to make the Soviets even stronger. Where would be the point in playing the axis if you cant even defeat the soviets but still have to deal with the allies.)

Its just historical focus tree wise. The strength of the nations is more made for balance reasons and not historical reasons. Also every historical game is extremely different. You cant expect it to be an exact representation of ww2, being a game.

@Duplizapper was commie and went after, what i assume, were liberated or supervised states in its core territory. German AI is very aggressive if the ideology lets it and it has reason.

In my ongoing US game, the Allies are getting pulverized in Africa, we’ve finally managed to throw the Axis out of Northeastern Canada, the USSR capitulated, and my focusing on the Pacific until now has led to me ERASING the Japanese Navy.

An occupied state can be passed to a different nation within your faction in order to free up men.

You people need to realize that noone would play germany if your only job is to loose. If you want a completely historical experience, watch a movie. But for people like me who mostly plays germany in multiplayer its already extremely frustrating because the soviets alone are an overpowered pain in the ass if playerd by a competent player.....But you still gotta fight the allies as well

It's so it makes sense, especially when you play on historical, yet Germany 99% of the time either wins or pushes the soviets so far that they barely recover(and on best days they reach Poland before allies take over germany), it should have more outcomes bruh. Changing the difficulty won't change that. Technically all nations go historical without DLC, with the notable exception of France and Poland which can go some historical routes (both can do a basic form of the four primary ideologies), America can intervene or not and Japan can go monarchist or stay fascist. Everything else is not going to change even if historical is turned off.

The problem with Africa in no dlc hoi4 is that Vichy France will come in from Syria because they immediately join the war.
I strongly very strongly recommend using the World Ablaze mod. The game is awful without it installed and excellent with it installed. Most importantly, it can actually be quite challenging unlike the unmodded game.

Чел, тут как когда, у меня Германия очень часто тупит, строит вместо танков пехоту и посылает ее в лобовую на линию мажино. Хотя с последними патчами это исправили. А ии с СССР не справляется, слишком сложная для компьютера задача - подготовиться к войне и при этом адекватно пройти сталинские чистки не расстреляв в них все командование. У меня получалось несколько раз, как итог, в самом худшем сценарии немцы у меня даже Минск не взяли, а в наилучшем были разбиты в приграничных боях и я прям как в пропоганде" бил противника малой кровью на его же территории. Имба в этой игре - игрок. Поэтому если знаешь как играть - советский союз наваливает ого-го, в лейте ему вообще равных нет.

Downloadable content. You have to pay most of the time for them. They add extra thing's to the game. For example in this game they add focus trees for countries.
