Looks like Shabani just wanted to play and we all know that if Shabani wants to play, he will make you play. Just ask Nene. 😆Annie definitely did not like the move where Kiyo was on his back on the ground and Shabani was over him. She was watching closely after that. Funny thing is that when she raised up to say "stop that" Shabani stopped, if only for a moment. 6:47 was funny, Annie came to see Kiyo's hand boo boo (what's wrong), Kiyo bopped his head at her (nothing, leave me alone) and Shabani smacked him for it. (Be nice to your sister)

Sometimes I feel like I'm watching The Three Stooges with this troop-lol, the head slaps, the pushing over, the playful hitting....what a great Silverback Shabani is-Annie, she was trying to defend Kiyo-she is starting to look like Ai from profile, but I DO see hints of Nene in there too...this troop is so much fun to watch!

I'm guessing in the wild this sort of play fighting is really important to prepare the males for when they have to fight for real later in life. This is like safe sparring with your dad.

Shabani was is a very playful mood today and Kiyomasa loved every minute of it ❤ I understand that there’s not enough female gorillas in Japan for all the meals that have been born,, But if Kiyomasa would be able to have a wife he would go on to play with his children just like Shabani and take good care of his babies also because they learn everything from mom and dad❤

- I'm sure we all wish that-I hope the zoo's do the right thing....but I won't hold my breath....they will probably hang around longer than when other zoos would do their transfers outside of Japan

At 7:56 Shabani looks right at his mate Ai but she refuses to even look at him, then he does a weak version of his signature “leg lift & chest pound” but with a slight twist to it. Fantastic!

This was a good wrestle between the boys today. More force was being used from both, but Shabani still holds back a lot of force or Kiyo would be whipped across the courtyard, if not. Poor Annie, it was a little too rough for her. She loves her brother so much. Don't worry Annie, Kiyo's fine. Great video.
