  • 羽生結弦は自分の顔をハンサムと言ったことはありません。 平昌オリンピック後のインタビューで「ゴールドメダルを2度獲得した自分を『かっこいい』と思わない？」と質問されて「そう思います」と羽生は答えました。 インタビュアーはバラエティ番組の司会者なので羽生は合わせてジョークで返答してます。 この時の「自分でもオリンピック二連覇したのはかっこいいと思う」を「私は自分の顔がハンサムな事を知っている」と誤訳して海外ファンは広めています。

    • Yes, it's something miss translated. "Kakkoii" can be mean Cool or Handsome. When he asked about the medal, it's definitely mean "cool" not "handsome."

  • Yuzu answers any questions sincerely and tactfully and has clear values. He makes people feel good and is considerate and humble.How can he think maturely at that age? So it is natural for parents to want a child like Yuzu😊 YUZU IS SO COOL:)

  • アイスショーのチケットがとれました(^-^)３年ぶりのファンタジーオンアイス…羽生選手にも３年ぶりで会えます。まさかチケットが当たるなんて思っても見なかったです。ラッキーと思いました。北京でのあの４A挑戦は本当に素晴らしかったです。今後はまだ不透明ですけど何時までも人の心を掴む羽生選手の演技を見ていたいです。

  • Very nice, thank you! One thing I like about Yuzuru, he has neither false pride nor false modesty. He's truthful, and seems to have a clear understanding of himself and his effect on people. I find his honesty refreshing.

    • 💯 his sincerity and honesty are out of this world. It’s disarming. Everything about him is so natural, he puts his emotions there on an open book for us all to see. He’s so self-assured, in a good way, he doesn’t seem to care about etiquette. He’s always at the right place, says the right thing, never looks clumsy (ok put Sochi off ice fall apart). Either he has perfect control of himself 24/7 or it’s just him naturally being perfect. In today’s world where each and every move of celebrities are scrutinized, analyzed, deformed, cooked and served as false truths, Yuzu just navigate his own PR like a boss.

  • Even he fails in anything like popping or sliding, the way he fails and then recovers is technically beautiful and naturally elegance. Indeed he was born to be a King of figure skating, as his name indicates, "soft and elegant like a feather, strong and agile like a string."

  • Highly fun and amusing! Yuzuru is such a well-rounded, totally self-secure man! I've never before seen such characteristics all wrapped in one charismatic man! He has the charm of a diplomat, but so much more well-balanced and multidimensional. Hanyu's totally right...parents might choose him as a role model for their children, but then, again, so do many adults! Lol!! Everyone needs to learn who is their true Self and be that original, one-of-a-kind person. I say - lead the way, Yuzu! (Many thanks to Mr & Mrs Hanyu as well for a well-raised young man in an excellent, supportive home environment! It's such a refreshing change to see. Goals for some people!)

    • The ideal man in my universe was my dear husband, and I would be completely and utterly shocked if there was a better man. I admire Yuzuru because he's a lot of good, 😉clean fun, happily thoughtful and kind to others. Respectfulness is highly underrated, but I'm hoping his immense popularity will be a catalyst to change this. Yuzu is multi- talented in ways that produce incredible beauty! He blesses us, and I am grateful! To quote from a fan's birthday wish for him, "I can put my hands together because he is here with us!" 👏🙏

  • 公家顔Kugegao doesn't mean exactly "noble look" in this interview. Kuge means court noble. Gao(kao) means faces. Kugegao is a face with very small eyes, a pale skin, and a noble but weak appearance. Especially very small eyes are features often depicted in old aristocratic paintings in Japan. Because he has a complex in his small eyes,he described himself as Kugegao as a self-deprecating joke. When Japanese call someone Kugegao,they use it in both good and bad ways. Good meaning＝a noble face Bad meaning＝a flat face with small eyes Actually there are few Japanese who are happy to be called Kugegao😅

    • Wow, many Chinese fans don't know that. It seems Boyang's look fits that criteria more haha. I would say everyone in China loves Yuzuru's face. But some (who are not FS fans, or who are just judgemental) criticize Boyang's look a lot due to his small eyes, which are not that common compared to Cong Han, Wenjing, and Xinyu.
