I'm so impressed with this it's crazy. It's like the devs that made all the old games have been on vacation since after Unity and they finally just came back
bro fr. ubi rlly had a solid formula with Unity and said nah -_-
It looks horrible though
@@hatdownlowofficialvr games always look horrible where have you been for last 7 or 8 years? A rock
@@hatdownlowofficialits a quest exclusive so its gotta look bad
@hatdownlowofficial VR games never look insane, you're typically losing a few years worth of graphical development in the industry but the game is much more immersive
Looks fun, we need more proper Vr games that are not too Arcady
We need more vr games period
There are way to many arcade arena games that I’ve gotten sick of them, we need story games based on ips if it makes it easier or original concepts
It's hard to make proper VR games when the controls dont allow it. The best VR games are simple games that use the controls properly, like superhot VR.
@@notuxnobux actually one of the best proper Vr games is half life alyx
@@pingon55555I was going to mention this as well.
THIS is the push for accessibility we need in vr
Most games have plenty of accessibility options
As someone who is put off VR due to accessibility it is not to the level of this where the options are marketed and shown
not when its not on pc xD
Looks like 2002 game...
@@damnsonalabanca420 Not really, looks like a 2023 game.
One day Ubisoft will give us a Splintercell game in VR... one day...
Take all my money
@@blexgamingthis is like me buying Quest 2 only because of RE4 back in the day 😂
They actually were doing one and cancelled it before
@angellllx1634 if this takes off, ubisoft will dust off the shelved game and bring it back.
squid game for now .
VR needs more AAA games like this. An easy way to do it is to convert AAA 2d games to VR like they did with Resident Evil 4
it's seemingly easier to amateur modders than to big studios with tons of money, it sadly seems
@@VRnamekyeah ive seen people convert oblivion, fallout new vegas, hell ive seen someone play cyberpunk in vr
@@VRnamek Unfortunately with companies. The publishers or whoever tf is in charge of everything can simply not like the idea because they may believe it's "not profitable" or "worth making".
Half Life Alyx was also a great game.
That's a 3d game GENIUS.
This looks great. It's the most I've been exited for Assassin's Creed in years. It's crazy how far the technology has come. Remember how limited Batman Arkham VR was? Imagine a Batman game with this technology.
I'd rather imagine a Batman PC VR game 😌
@@Mr.Anders0n_well yeah, but you know what they meant, no need to be pedantic right now Lol
Camouflaj Studio is secretly developing Batman VR for the Meta Quest platform.
I'm glad that Ubisoft finally remembered Connor. He was my favorite.
Same
Connor is the best in my opinion.
He's sooo underrated and that's because AC3 plot went right over most people heads
He was pretty wooden, but likeable. Maybe my fourth or fifth favorite AC protagonist.
@@Nugnugnugpeople forget he's not loveable active wild lady's man ezio who grew up in wealth and had family Connor lost his mother and half his tribe while his life was threatened and knocked out as a kid he's focused and committed he is honestly what a true assassin is he's more akin to altair who also was wooden snd pretty bland compared to mainstay longrunning ezio. Ezio and Edward were literally the only 2 wild ones
This is absolutely mind blowing! After 40 hours into RE4 VR I've experienced how incredible VR implementation can be. This is next level 🤯
It feels like they're actually pushing the bar again, this may not be pefect but its a step in a bold and exciting direction. I'm looking forward to where this might lead.
Fr
This is definitely gonna be a must buy if you have a VR
Only if it comes to PCVR. The quest is a mediocre device with bad graphics and bad FOV. At this point in time the only games worth playing are PC games like Half life Alyx in my opinion
@@eternalglow6483110° isn't bad FOV. The Quest 3 has much better visuals than the Index.
Have you seen the quest 3's fov????@@eternalglow6483
@@eternalglow6483 the quest 3 has 110 horizontal fov
@@eternalglow6483 Right? VR exclusivity is sickening. Especially since it is already so small market.
This makes me want to get a VR headset. First person Parkour through Assassin's Creed maps plus throwing tomahawks at things? Yes please!
Absolutely, going into VR is easier than ever right now. You can pick up meta quest3 to get started. It has pancake lenses, more comfortable for you to wear and an increased computing power and resolutions, plus the bonus of MR capabilities. Its almost like a more accessible counterpart to Apple vision pro.
People gonna be falling over like crazy with this one! I'm In!
Looking forward to seeing a bunch of videos of people falling into their TV's again with that leap of faith 🤣
This gives me hope to having a game like dying light in vr being made.
1000% would play that
@churros1012 in a freaking heart beat! One day ❤️
only needs a mod for motion controlls and there you go
That’d be pretty sick.
Play stride, closest thing to dying light vr we got.
Man they're actually taking this seriously, Vr needs more devs that care like this.
Excited to see so many accessibility features, really nice to see that coming to VR
Did Homie really say this is the first time you get to play as multiple assassins? There’s been two games already where you get to play as multiple assassins.
From different eras?
@@Slayer1235ishyou play as both Altair and Ezio in Revelations, different eras. In Black Flag, you play as both Edward and Adewale if we’re counting DLC. Syndicate, Jacob and Evie.
Reminds me of when everyone suddenly slept hard on Blade and claimed that Black Panther was the first black superhero
@@rjafa65 Don't forget Lydia in syndicate
I'm surprised they didn't comment on the obvious parallels between VR headsets and the in-game animus. I'm sure its been pointed out internally many times but it would have made a cool marketing point to mention it in the video.
Pretty much why the franchise is perfect for VR
Hopefully this does well so Ubisoft can see VR is something people do want and more of their IP's can be brought to VR like Watch Dogs, the parkour here also shows parkour is possible in VR so maybe if Techland see that a dying light VR could be made
This is the most excited I've been for a game since ACIII ... this looks very impressive
Hopefully there’s a lot of life in the maps to make it feel immersive, would be cool to just take the time periods in.
Imo if they pull this off it could completely revitalize AC and bring a lot more attention to VR
The VR industry is too small to make games exclusive to the quest. Give PSVR and PCVR players games too!
Bro quest 2 alone sold more than the Xbox series x
sure, sure. You give us Alyx and RE8 and we give you Nexus, if we're speaking about exclusives...
@@VRnamekI feel like those not being on quest is hardware limitations more than it just being exclusive
@@findgod... so theres still a number of people on pcvr and psvr2
@@christianr.5868 Alyx could 100% run on the Quest 3. Mobile is the future of VR.
It can't be denied how impressive this is. We really made a leap in technology.
It’s not that impressive
@@trapez77 here we go again another one that cant recognize hard work.can you do one better ill be waiting to buy it?
@@TheNissandd this could have been made on the ps3
@@trapez77 The fact that ps3-level graphics on a mobile VR chipset, with full-vr interactions & freedoms, doesn't impress you, is crazy.
@@TornadoeJoe leave them alone bro they're never satisfied
We need this for STEAM VR
So cool they got Morena Beccarin here. Reminds me of Lucy and how she was also played by a celeb.
They really nailed it this time. Kudos to Ubisoft
Save it for when the game actually releases, my man.
Right... they apparently nailed it with Mirage. Then it came out@@drumsofliberation3470
@@drumsofliberation3470 true, you never know with this dudes
"It's the first time you can play as multiple assassins in the same game." Syndicate: "Am I a joke to you?" In all seriousness I'm super pumped haha.
Revelations too
To be the 1st person in Venice and feel 3D environment is something extraordinary.
can't wait to try this out in my quest 3
Finally a game with accessibility features! Youll never know how much we appreciate it.
Praying this comes to PSVR2 man. Would so dope with all the haptics
This is the the most amazing thing ever ,great job 👏🏼💯
Sounds absolutely amazing
Really wish it wasn’t a quest exclusive. I’d buy this in a heartbeat
psvr users could still get it through alternative means
AC. You’ve actually impressed me after all these years.
Looks great! Looking forward to it.
If this comes out on PSVR 2 I’m getting it
It won't.
@@TornadoeJoequest is a joke. The Facebook ecosystem is soulless and most quest owners stop using their quests shortly after purchasing due to the lack of deep experiences. Hopefully they reconsider.
Me too

Same!
Available on Meta Quest 2 tooo... awesome!
I’m waiting for Ubisoft to release the animus. Not playing as a person using the animus but actually give us the animus
Alright, I'm sold! Looking forward to picking this one up.
Looks amazing!
I've always wanted an AC game in first person.
"It's the first time you can play multiple assassins in the same game" Jacob and Evie Frye: "Are we a joke to you?"
this is absolutely INCREDIBLE! Great job Ubisoft!
A small part of me thinks that VR represent the "next-gen" gaming rather than jumping from 1080p to 4K - Because in the end it will be the same set of games just in better resolution. But this - Is so cool!
VR is sorta like the jump from 2D sprites to 3D polygons. It makes new styles of games possible that you just can't do with the older tech.
Most modern VR headsets have close to 4k resolution so you are kind of getting both.
my boy Connor returns! 🥺
Connor is the one I'm most hyped for.
This isn't the first wave of gaming to do this, but it is amazing to see large AAA pick up design philosophies put down by indie devs. This isn't a game that exists in the limited VR philosophy of Valve and Palmer Luckey. Half-Life Alyx remains the greatest VR game ever made, but I'm so happy to see this take cues from things like Boneworks, Until You Fall, and maybe even Population One with some of the parkour.
Sounds great in gameplay, but graphics imo could do so much more, even if they added baked shadows (pre-rendered shadows as a textures) and worked a little on increasing the detail of close-up objects it would look almost like a real PS3/X360 era Assassin's Creed inside a VR. In close-up FPS gameplay it just looks as PS2 game
It's almost like a REAL animus!
After playing Blade and Sorcery, this combat is underwhelming, overall very cool!
Basically, the combat in the original ACs are mediocre to say the least. So how they implemented the combat in VR is basically staying true to the original style of swing and defending mindlessly
Combat might not be there yet, but combine it with parkour and it becomes amazing.
Looks so cool, can't wait to play it.
Truly parkour experience 1:59 this hand climb on the nothing lol
Hoping they will consider a PCVR port at some point.
Nope, Meta funded the entire development of this game, just like Resident Evil 4 (original version) in VR. It's a Quest exclusive they asked Ubisoft to make to sell Quest 3 headsets
@@acurisurThe exclusivity deal is canceled. Now it's upto Ubisoft to bring it to other platforms.
The accessibility features were almost the most impressive part
Really impressed and really excited for the game
SO COOL, TY GUYS!!
Hats off to ubisoft for all these Accessibility features.
yeah but its not pc, so its bad for the market
Hopefully it's excellent, and if it indeed is, then it should be brought to PSVR2 and PC at some point.
This looks SO COOL!
This is the most Assassins Creed Game that I've seen in years!
This looks awesome. Wondering if throwing yourself from the roofs won't give you some vertigo and make you lose balance tho.
What the hell this looks like a decent game! something ubisoft hasn't done in a long time
Excited to revisit Conner again
"first time you can play as multiple assassins" *assassins creed syndicate crying in the corner*
Would love to see this on PSVR2
Well you technically played in First Person in games like AC4 and Rogue in the present and you technically played as multiple assassin's in Syndicate with being able to play as both of the siblings
That blade flick looks sick!
Wow! This Blade and Sorcery mod looks amazing!
This will be the first AC game I've played since Syndicate.
*sad reaction*
Ouch.
oof
🤣 I played the first one. The second one. Unity and a little bit of Syndicate. They lost me with the pirate ship wars and RPG stuff. I'm looking forward to jumping back in with this though.
Series has definitely taken a dip past few years
The likelihood that this will function as intended is so small. But I'm rooting for it!
Truly an Air Conditioner experience!
Ok this is interesting. Considering this one of the few games in VR with a focus in parkour.
maaaaan after 15 years my dream came true this looks siiiiiiiick
Not only we're playing AC in VR, but we're also meeting a character played by Morena Baccarin? That's already a win for me
Who is morena baccarin? Players are so hyped for her for some reason.
@@drumsofliberation3470, Deadpool's wife
@@drumsofliberation3470 she's a Brazilian-American actress. She played Vanessa (Deadpool's wife), Gideon (sometimes) from Flash, Lee in Gotham and she was also Anna in the "V" series. She's (in my humble and respectful opinion) a breathtaking woman.

Ubisoft really is Abstergo in real life......
Meta is great and all but how about PSV2.
Assassin Creed with a cable dangling around your neck? 😮
@@Kayzef2003Cable is actually pretty unnoticeable. Besides you can turn with the sticks. The cable stays behind you the entire time with the way it’s placed so it isn’t in your way most of the time.
@kayzel2003 it’s not like your Michael fasbender in the ac movie literally climbing walls or even taking more than 1 step
wow! A surprise for sure, but a welcome one. Haven't expected such game in VR. Looks bery interesting and promising
There are any things the VR can do that some consider... unnatural
For the comfort of the leap, why wouldn’t you just close your eyes🤣 Great game! I’ve waited for this kind for so long.
Is it going to be on PSVR2? have we had any announcement on that?
No, Quest only
Thank you Ubisoft for actually developing your own VR game unlike other major company's (rockstar, EA games)
San Andreas is getting a VR port
Started the video being skeptical and ended the video genuinely impressed
my first leap of faith is gonna be a really special moment
Any plans for psvr2?
No
This games gonna be the most epic story game Vr ever seen
Animus is becoming real slowly and steady! DAMN
Looks exciting 😊
Kassandra... Yay....
Hope that it will come to psvr2 eventually
PSVR2 doesn't have enough of a market to make it worthwhile (probably). They're probably more likely to develop another Quest title if this one is as successful as everyone's expecting.
@@TornadoeJoeLook at the comments alone there so many people commenting and liking comments about psvr2. There's clearly a market for psvr2
I’m ready for Ready Player One, free motion suits at this point. Throughly impressed with how far VR tech has come.
Can you believe they made an entire Doom game where you are stuck in place and have to teleport to move, and now VR devs are just like 'okay we can actually make games now'
Looks smoother then mirage. Yet carefully filmed. Not the best of performance either. Yet amazing too see the vr getting games it deserves.
Black flag vr dlc please
Nice that they are giving connor some love finally, although if they were true to their stories his blade should be able to turn like in his game.
Cant wait for the game :)
Combat made me think, can you imagine a Soul's game in VR. Even Sekiro. Fast paced blocking and then attacking on the right opportunities. I'd say lightsaber combat could be amazing as well but it already is. We have Vader's game for that and Blade and Sorcery with mods as well.
what about ps vr2?
Meta exclusive
First time to play multiple assassins in the same game. The whole Desmond arch has multiple assassins in each game. Also syndicate
Looks awesome to be honest
