  • I already knew how to tattoo but not as good as I knew I could. I knew something was missing and after watching just the first lesson my tattooing improved tremendously. Ben is the real deal!! Plus I love the way he says tattooing 😀

  • Dude, you are a blessing! For someone who wants to learn the right way to do things at their own pace your videos are the only way to go! You explain everything to a T..you can actually watch yourself improve while following along with your tutorials, they’ve helped me immensely! I’m still a newb but I’ve improved so much by following along with your tutorials, I’m about halfway through and can’t wait to finish and see how much I’ve improved! I’ve dreamed of learning to tattoo for years but never had time or knew where to start, definitely couldn’t quit my job to go apprentice somewhere so you have actually made a long time dream of mine come true! Don’t know if you read these comments but just wanted to take the time to tell you thanks, thanks for your time, thanks for sharing your knowledge, thanks for seeming to genuinely caring about people who want to learn, learning the right way, wish I could shake your hand in person.   • im so grateful for someone explaining stuff. my theory is that its not that hard to tattoo so all those mediocre petty tattooers not interested in getting better afraid of losing customers try to keep everyone out and thats so lame.

  • This is by far the biggest part of tattooing that a lot of beginners struggle with, myself included. I just ordered my first actual tattoo machine. I plan to save 15% on tattoo costs by switching from skins to myself. lol. I figure if I'm gonna stay motivated, then getting shit tattoos is prob the best way to go about that. I'm addicted to these videos man. Thank you for doing this.

  • Hey Ben , I just got a tattoo machine and started going through your 30 days free course ( Definitely gonna buy the full tutorial ) And I just wanted to say thank you for such a calming but very deep and detailed explanation of every aspect of tattooing. I have a Full time job so becoming an apprentice for me is not easy , but with this course I feel like I have everything I need to learn tattooing in depth. Now just gonna put evenings and nights into practice and hopefully ill find a tattoo shop that will hire me. Again thank you so much you are absolutely amazing

  • Definitely something I had issues with at first. The first mats I bought were only 2mm thick so I kept blowing through them and carving up my table. Had to start tattooing on top of cardboard to prevent that issue. Bought some thicker mats and haven't gone through even once, but I feel like practicing with that thinner skin was actually really good for learning depth

  • Any one that's just starting out LISTEN TO THIS GUY. There are so many people that claim to be trying to help you out, by offering you an "education" on tattooing on KZhead. And almost all of them are either begginers themselves pretending that they know what there doing, or there intentionally giving you false information in hopes that you're dumb enough to believe them. This guy is awesome. He explains his lessons very clearly, in a way that is easily digestible and it's clear that he really is trying to educate people. I would definitely subscribe if you haven't already
